I will read it, thanks for that. Anyway, I remember from Doom 3 when you are try to reach a squad of survived marines, and you almost catch them up a few time, that was good, and as I remember, you find them dead. That was sad, I wanted to help them so much.

In the 2012 re-release you get to play as the surviving member of the Bravo Team.

Not that I care about that company any more, they've screwed up too many times. Their last good game, in my opinion, was Mass Effect 1

Exactly how I feel about Bioware nowadays. Like I don't want to give them another dime of my money if they don't get their shit together (which I doubt they will) And tbh, even ME1 felt pretty meh after The Witcher rocked my world the previous fall.

And I probably wouldn't mind if someone nuked Bioware HQ from the orbit. Good riddance.

because if you had reached them, they'd have to create human ai, and that's too hard for id. so it's huge quilted megatextures for them. that's all they want to do.

How does it compare to the first 2 games?

Patty sure has "developed" as a character from Risen 2 to Risen 3.

Well, I never played 2 so can't say but it is pretty damn good with it's own set of flaws but if you liked Risen 1 then definitely worth playing atleast once, although I heard the ending is a bit shit(haven't reached there yet) but I really don't care about that.

UPDATE: Seems they are independent and Linux version is coming as well. This looks promising.

I was going through my backlog lately, totally bored with no game I would really want to play...

...so I installed and played Half-Life 2 for the first time in my life!

It's preeeetttty good so far and it definitely has an awesome soundtrack.

People are going to lynch me but I think Half Life 2 is overrated, with its Disney storyline and characters. Ravenholdt was a very good level though as were the physics and animations...but that's it. I think Black Mesa is far superior as a Half Life game. Doom 3 (its direct competitor at the time) was also better.
