The graveyard hate from multiple factions really kills Skellige for me

+
If I can add my 2 cents to the discussion, I'd like to say this: there has to be some way to counter graveyard mechanic, otherwise SK are to strong. And for this reason I respect Assire, Ozzrel and Caretaker, the new Yennefer etc. They are silver or gold, they should have the ability to seriously disrupt opponent's strategy. That being said however, I absolutely do not understand Vicovaro Medics, which are better than Freya priestesses and very close to Caretaker in ability, while being only bronze. That a bronze card can resurrect your win condition and with that action bring that win condition on their side (say, 25 point Tuirseach skirmisher or Greatsword) in a short last round is too much. Especially when taking into account that those win conditions had to be prepared and strengthened through hard work, using silvers and golds, it is simply devastating when your opponent steals it with a winy bronze... Thankfully, Medics are almost nowhere to be seen currently and when they are, they resurrect mostly their spies, but still the off chance that my whole game might fail because of a bronze card is troubling... Against SK they are practically a Muzzle with no power restriction.

the downside to VMedic is that it's a Doomed 1 body, that can only touch bronze units. If you rely on single buffed units, no matter where they are (except your hand) your win condition is fragile... that doesn't just apply to the graveyard

i have seen some of the better alchemy decks splash 1 or 2 in for the mirror match and he is pretty solid against a variety of top tier decks

Skellige is extremelly lazy deck. Plus already too strong. Not sure why is OP complaining. I wish cards in the graveyard stay at the base level. They should review all factions and read feedbacks and trimm is accordingly. But that is not going to happen....

Not sure how SK is any "lazier" than any other deck.

While it's perfectly all right to not like topics that others have created, it is not okay to post in those topics just to ridicule its participants.

One post deleted.

Veteran, Veteran, Veteran, Decoy on Veteran, Res Veteran play 17 STR Bronze Bearmasters.

Greatswords is a bit better, but the un-interactiveness of it is unBEARable (could be said about the Faction's most viable decks as a whole). I kinda only like Axemen (after it being my absolutely most hated deck from the times they were just ridiculously overpowered) and Ciri: Dash schenanigans, cause there you can actually must combo really smart, aside having decent luck with your draws (and pray Oppo's Create does not screw you left and right).

I haven't played veterans yet.

I will say though that I haven't really seen a deck that I could describe as lazier than any other deck. They are all really easy to pilot.
