The Great Escape Quest Bugged?

Greetings,

I need help because I am experiencing some kind of bug that does not allow me to continue through the main story quests

I'd like to say first that it is the first time that am I having problem with this game

The thing here is that today I get to the Quest " The great escape" (Yennefer gaves me) the one that tell you to safe Margarita,reaching to her through the sewers.

The problem is that when I get to her jail, the game start to load the tradional diaolog cinematic,unfortunatly this loading screen, previous to the diolog, remains loading all the time with black screen, nothing happens,just says "loading,loading,loading"

I have noticed also,that if I don`t kill the guards ( or I least I leave one of the three alive ) once I get the black screen dialog its looks like the game its runnning,because the controller vibration still on and after 5-10 sec, the "death" screen appears to tell if I want to restart the last quicksave :s

I reinstalled the game, I have done the quest using other diolog choices ( sidequests from the outside are working perfectly ) so I don`t know what to do, because this is a main story quest and I can`t complete it..

What can I do?

Hi there, we got your message by support mail. It looks like you have cheated and added yourself quest items from debug console.
Please do not use cheats - they WILL break your game.

You probably used the debug console to give yourself all the items in the game. The solution to this is to the run these commands from the debug console:

removeitem('q310_backdoor_key')
removeitem('q310_cell_key')
removeitem('q310_explorer_note')
removeitem('q310_journal_notes_1')
removeitem('q310_journal_notes_2')
removeitem('q310_lever')
removeitem('q310_sewer_door_key')
removeitem('q310_wine')
removeitem('q310_yen_trinket')

That resolved my issues with the infinite loading screen when meeting margarita. Hopefully this helps anyone else who runs into this issue. Yes, cheating can definitely break your game, but for some of us the game is far more enjoyable with cheats/mods.

Ah man you're an angel! This is the only solution. Correct way to fix this glitch and proceed forward. Thank you so much. Btw, I tried copy/pasting all the commands at once, it didn't work. I had to copy/paste line by line in the console and voila it worked. Thanks again!
