They have every right to be... far to many devs decided to ditch PC gaming or they are releasing some casual mindsucking crap that made an success in consoles... eventhough the PC gaming is where they all startedAlthough this aint happening now at CDPR, but these things needs to be cleared and need to be cleared NOW when CDPR is at the doorstep of entering console worldAll this fear, whining, shouting and frustration are necessary... thats the price you have to pay when you release something that special as The Witcher

Well all I can say is if CDPR is doing a Witcher Console version is that those gamers will get one hell of a great game. And CDPR when TW2 comes out please make it PC first let us have the first crack at the game.

There is even a video on Gametrailers about it.So I wonder what is behind the wall if the console version isn;t.

i guess .. (my personal suspicion) that it was the console version at first.. but after seeing the reaction of the community, they have to come up with something new..i understand they need to jump on on the console market, because (sadly) this is where most money lies..still i know CDPR and dont think they will forget about us PC players..(why the graphics should be better on console is still beyond my imagination.. its 2008, almost 2009.. and cosole graphics are really outdated..see farcry 2 comparsion video here, if you need proof: http://www.eurogamer.net/tv_video.php?playlist_id=18202 )

If this is really official, then Console version behind the wall will be no secret.If there is a Console version behind the wall, why would they make the console version official NOW, when there is still something hidden behind the wall.If there is a Console version behind the wall, it will not be a surprise cause everyone knows now.That is why I think there is something else behind the wall.... Something that can please also PC gamers.... (maybe....)

well it has been posted by eriash (CDPR) on the official polish forum.. so it seem quite official to me

I think that they would not make such a big number of it if it was only the console version of witcher, but who knows? Most people (or atleast some) seem to be very much against that the witcher would also be availabe for consoles. I don't see a problem in it. PCs are not meant for gaming, but ofcourse one can tool ones PC for it. I atleast will not be upgrading my PC again (and using 250 € in the process) if it will not run the hopefully comming witcher 2. I rather buy a xbox 360 and then I don't have to worry about how much RAM I have and so on. PC is not just effective enough for most games nowadays, and getting a PC that can run similar game as a console costs way too much for me. I still hope that the witcher 2 (if it's ever going to be released) will run on my current PC, but if it doesn't I have to figure something out...

i think your wrong.. after buying 10 games for the xbox you already spent 100 to 200€ more than a PC player would have for the same games.. which is a very good graphics card (gefore 9800gtx)(this graphics card alone has more power then your whole xbox btw.)conclusion: console gaming is much more expansive then PC

But console games are not that much more expensive anymore. And a console lasts for 5-6 years at least. Computers usually don't (after 2 years you need some new components to stay up to date).Also, the games are always made for those specific console, so they are imptimized.But hey, I guess a discussion concole vs. PC games does not belong here anyway, heh.
