In all honesty, that looks like CG. I dare say CDPR is hyping up the game by MIXING up in game and CG. Please a CDPR employee tell me if that is NOT CG. Thanks

Damn, he hasn't aged a bit.

I don't think so considering the fact that Cynthia played such a minor role in TW2 and
the fact that you could kill her in Act 3.

Also, why would she even be on the same boat as Geralt, Triss, and Yennefer (Considering who she is affiliated with)?

You could also kill Letho. She uses the same mask in Act III

Ah, I do not recall her wearing a mask. I'm not sure who else it could be.

If it's not Cynthia it's most probably a Nilfgardian spy, cause the outfit is similar.

Two questions...what does the Emperor mean when he says as about Ciri "I shall give her what she deserves" and what is that structure/ruin Ciri was running to?

many theories out there.

for what the emperor meant for Ciri. (this is major spoiler mind you)
if he hasn't become a bigger bastard since the last book. he will likely give her a kingdom or make her his her heir

About the ruin Ciri was in. I heard someone say that it reminded them of the place that the Grandmaster was at the end of the first witcher game.

Personally think thats the ruins of the tower of thanedd island

Oh, spoiler time!

When Emhyr said "I shall give her what she deserves" I think he was talking about how her child will rule half of the world and her grandchild will rule the whole world, according to Ithline's prophecy. I don't recall if Emhyr himself wanted to impregnate Ciri (despite being her father), but he wanted her child to be his heir and fulfill the prophecy.

EDIT: I just looked towards the end of The Lady of the Lake, and it seems that Emhyr intended to produce incestous offspring with Ciri, but changed his mind in the unnamed castle that Ciri, Geralt, and Yennefer were taken to after Stygga.

Regarding the ruin:

At first I assumed it was Tor Lara, however it was destroyed during the coup severely damaged during the Thanedd coup . And it can't be Tor Zireael because that tower was in the middle of a lake and was not located on top of a mountain. I better go back through the books and see what I can find

EDIT 2: Perhaps it can be Tor Lara. I was watching the trailer again, and the ruins are on top of an island surrounded by mountains.

Questions list:

i really want to sum up the things so please answer each question apart, thanks:

1)in the new trailer you can see ciri runing to a tower is that kaer morhen? (the witchers fort)

2)again in the trailer you can see the witcher (cant remember his name, he wears a red vest, didnt we killed him in the witcher 1 or 2?(i remember killing him in a side mission i think got his witcher equipment and weapons)

3) the developers said kaer morhen will take a big role in the game world, will it mean base of operations for the witchers? (taking missions, perhaps defending it from attacks? -from the Empire after you obviously betray the Emporer to save ciri?)

4)in the trailer we can see that letho is alive, will letho be taking a role again after causing all the meyhem in the witcher 2?

5)The heavy armor soldiers, in the trailer we saw them attacking garelt, are they The wild Hunt?, because you can see in the last trailer the wild hunt that attacks the village are bigger and have different armor(heavier) not talking about the wild hunt king, the other ones that you can see in the backround.

6)couldnt find a answer for that, what the hell is the gollum like creature that rides with garelt in the trailer?

thats it thanks

oh one more thing there is only one thing that troubles me about the game, the magic auto turrent "gun" you can summon a magic turrent?! thats doesnt belong to the witcher universe, am i the only one that thinks they need to change that? i mean everything is perfect beside that, even the crossbow is awesome, but auto turrent?!, come on.. this isnt borderlands.

1) It is definitely not Kaer Mohren. There has been speculation that maybe it is Tor Lara or Tor Zirael but it is most probably not either of them. We don't really know what it is.

2)You are talking about Berengar. No he is not Berengar (you can also spare Berengar in TW1). The man in the red vest is Eskel and he is the witcher with the huge scar across his face.

3)We do not know, how big of a role Kaer Mohren will have on the game. In my personal opinion, I don't think it will be a big one, since it is quite far away from the assumed game map.

4)Letho seems to be alive, that is correct, so he probably has a role in TW3. Unless of course you killed him during TW2.

5)If you speak of minute 1:33 in the trailer, these sure are soldiers of the Wild Hunt, you can see their armor is quite "bony". And the one with the wand, is most probably one of the leaders, I do not think he is Eredin though, because of his mask.

6)Some people said that it is the doppler Dudu from the books. I do not quite support this opinion, but he may very well be Dudu.

If you talk about the Igni sign, I do not think it is not Lore friendly. But that's just opinions. I can't remember exactly if it has happened in the books, but I think it did. I could be wrong though. Also CDPR must have a reason for implementing it.

Isn't that scene a flashback, though? Given the context, it seems that way. If so Letho's cameo would be no sure indication of his return in TW3.

What? How comes you think that this was a flashback? It's definitely after the end of Witcher 2, you see Geralt with his new armor and beard in this scene.

He could be talking about Leo, as well.
