Today we got a look at the third trailer for the witcher 3 wild hunt. We hope you liked it!

There's much more to the game that it's just impossible to show everything within two and a half minutes.
Most importantly, we showed you a preview of our main characters:

Geralt's close friends and some of the last witchers remaining in the world. Vesemir, Eskel, and Lambert will play a big part in the game, as well as their famous fortress, Kaer Morhen.
You also got a glimpse of the renowned bard Dandelion and the sorceress, Triss Merigold.
Emhyr Var Emhyreis, Emperor of Nilfgaard, the most powerful man in the world of the Witcher also made an appearance. Recognise his voice?
And then there was Ciri!
And Yennefer!

By the way, if you're new to the series, don't worry, the game will provide you all the information you need to now, and you'll start loving (and battling) characters in no time!

Also you've been asking many questions about gameplay features and we're finally ready to answer some of them:

Yes, you will be able to fight on horseback.
The crossbow. Yup, Geralt has a ranged weapon. Because monsters fly and you can't stab them.
Remember swimming and sailing? You'll be able to dive and search for a lot of hidden stuff too. There's a whole underwater world to discover.
Horse racing anyone?

So I guess I'm not the only one with a slight problem with the all of a sudden changed faces?
I don't know if it's part of some new next gen technology that changes the animation, if it's different lighting or if they just wanted to revamp their faces suddenly? Sorry to say it, but I just can't help but feel that the witcher 2 faces look a lot more appealing than whatever it is that's going on here. They look weird.

Oh Man Yennefer doesn't look that attractive to me she can't compete with Triss in terms of looks, Triss has wide face now !

I was almost worried that something was amiss in these forums, universal praise yet no one mentions faces anywhere? Glad I was proven wrong

Faces and Crossbows have always been the center of complaints, I cant wait till they show the first Cyberpunk gameplay trailer

I really hope that this is some kind of trailer weirdness. Geralt looks horrible, Triss looks better with strange hair, Yen needs bigger purple eyes, a colder skin tone and longer raven black hair.

I also don't quite like Geralt's face from the front,but in some moments and from certain angles it looked fine. And yes,Yennefer definitely need a longer BLACK hair. But hey, guys,the game still isn't finished. I get now why they were holding off showing anythig to us. Or at least I hope that the faces aren't final

I'm actually fine with the faces (oh my lovely Triss View attachment 3589) but Yennefer... I don't know what to say. She's is one of the best described characters of the books. Hope they change her before release.

It's going to be one hell of a choice between her & Yen, they both look damn fucking good.

No doubt about that.
But Geralt looks just a little bit too .... "unfamiliar" for my taste, compared to TW1 and TW2. It is a really big change, even a bigger one than from TW1 to TW2 IMO.

As for Triss, yeah her hair is okay.
@Yennefer: Like I said, I agree that her hair SHOULD be black please, the rest of her I really liked. She seemed slightly cold, but not too cold and she is roughly like described in the books (except for the DAMN hair !!)

As for the "on-clothes" makeout scene. My best guess is that this was an artistic choice to not show clothes-off in the trailer 1. in order to not immediately offend anyone with it (newcomers especially) and 2. because they do not want to show the best scenes right in the trailer.
As far as I know most engines allow for a dynamic clothes-on/clothes-off switch in in-game scenes in order to comfortably edit a scene, so I think that was just a makeover for the above mentioned reasons.
I SURELY HOPE SO at least. I mean come on. No sense in starting to get prude with the 3rd game if the first 2 games were both not very reluctant with their sexual content.

I think that is EXACTLY what those Forums here are for. We can give them feedback on what we liked (and let's be honest there is a lot to like, the landscapes were IMPRESSIVE and so HUGE and the scenes in general were great) and what we didn't like so they can slightly change it.

Also, @geraltsFace => Looking at it now I think the problem is less the model but rather the camera angle. If we had a screenshot or two )1. From a cutscene and 2. From In-Game non-cutscene gameplay footage) then we might be able to evaluate it better. I think the angle is a big problem here.

@ Yen. Like said before. Like her figure, like her face (mostly), problem is the hair, black + slightly longer would be good, the latter is an option (haircuts change) the latter is a MUST).

monsters and amimals look fenomenal: endradas and drowners, wraiths,Wyvern, rotfiend are still in the game
