Yeah that's one thing I liked about Fallout.

You could pick up truckloads of basically valueless junk if you wanted to.
I recall I once collected toilet plungers just for fun *chuckles*

I don't care for the way the crafting and looting was done in the witcher 2.
I found my bags were full hundreds of small junk items that you might find in a MMO and the crafting requirements or list of items were to big, less of the grinding type of game play, it brakes Immersion for me.
Sure picking up a few parts hear and there or looting weapons wallets and some armor/clothing off a guy might work, but its not like you are going to strip them naked and take all the cybernetics from there corpse.
CDPR needs to handle the looting of houses and apartments properly you can't just go into someones house and start stealing stuff in front of them. I want less of it there were box's everywhere with one or 2 small items for crafting. there was no real need for all that stuff, but found my self looting it to get cash I hope the missions will give us the right amount of income, or just give us credits or real items when we loot something not useless junk.

I just want a more realistic approach to looting in general and a lot of cool weapons, armor and cybernetics that I can mod out add too, laser sights, silencers, single shot grenade launchers, knives. I'm not sure what roll we are playing we might not be able to pack fire arms around all the time so in that case the cybernetic mods for melee combat that you can change parts around will be vary cool.
armor should be made up out of different parts as well so we can mix and match it like fore arms, hands, shoulders should be septet from the body. maybe even different parts on each arm.

Options for the sub dermal cybernetic armor and weapons you see in the trailer that come at high costs. you also don't want to have to much Cybernetics it will make you take a trip to crazy town, it might be fun to see what happens if you do go cyber-crazy.

"Whoa. A brand new Hithachi-Zendaflex! I always wanted one of those; frack, ever since I was a punk. It's real nice of this dead guy here to give me his! Really appreciate it, chombatta!" -Ripperjack

"Yeah, the future is disposable. So are you, homeboy." -Razorjack

"This isn't going to hurt a bit." "Well, maybe a little." "Quit screamin', willya? How'm I supposed to get this thing stuck on if you keep twitching like that?" -Scenes from Savage Doc's

Three good quotes about loot for CP2077 I think.

Oh and one more...

"Dead is dead. Parts is parts. Dead guy is parts." -Ripperjack

I think I posted something on this earlier, but I'll give a brief recap on what I previously posted. I think, personally, it would depend on the skills and/or contacts of an individual "Looter". What I mean by this is: Any moron could loot what the deceased was carrying. If they wanted anything besides the basics (Weapons, ammo, clothes, etc.) it would be "easy pickings". Having said that, if they wanted something a bit more "exotic", say the guy's cyberleg, they had better either BE or know a Medtech/Vulture/Ripperdoc or, more than likely, they would ruin what they are trying to salvage. Also, consider the difficulty of getting RID of the stolen loot. Hope you know/know of a Fixer or shady Pawn Shop owner. Even so, don't expect to get "full retail value" for your ill gotten gains. Remember kids, these guys exist for their OWN profit, not yours....I don't CARE if it's your tightest Choomba.

Videopete: That's why you buy a Taurus 9mm Parabellum revolver. I can fire .380, standard 9mm, 9mm Parabellum and Luger 9mm and it goes through 'em just fine....but those ARE cased rounds so, can't have everything, I guess... Unless you buy a Glock (With multiple upper receivers) or a Medusa Revolver. God, I love wheel guns!
