The main site denies me access

Hi, this is more of a site support issue, but i wanted to see if anyone else has faced the same problem and that if they have solved it somehow?

The thing is when ever in firefox I want to visit the main site (anything other than the forum) I get the:

SORRY. THE ACCESS CANNOT BE GRANTED.​

Which one would get if he were to input an age lower than 18. However I have not done so, but it still does that. I can access the site fine with chrome after inputting my age, but the firefox does not even grant me the opportunity to input my age, let alone allowing me to access the site. It just gives the message.

Any suggestion?

Clearing Cookies and Cache does not work, I have tried.
Logging off, also does not work.

I have no issues with Firefox granting access to any part of the website . Are you using the latest version (not beta) ? Do you clean the cache within Firefox or use a 3rd party cleaner like CCleaner ?

Try on a different browser, like Chrome. Also, you could try inserting a false but older year, like 1900.

It works fine with other browsers. and the thing is that it does not even let me insert anything. Right off the bat when I open the site it shows me the message. This has happened even since the witcher enhaced edition wallpapers were released. Do you remember secondchildren? I said something about not being able to access the site. Since then I had this issue. I use chrome for now, but just wanted to know if the issue is serious and if can it be fixed.

It doesn't seem to be a general problem - are you using any addons such as popup blockers?

Maybe you've accidentally put a lower age once and the site remembers it? Sometimes it has happened to me (yet not in the witcher site) and after some while it wears off and asks my age again..

Nope, no addons. the things is that I understand one month, or two . . . but its been like 4 months now its working with other browsers so it has to be cookie related.

I didn't understand, that have you tried manually deleting (clearing?) cookie(s) for en.thewitcher.com ? [firefox - remove individual cookies]

Is your anti-virus/firewall denying access to the homepage?
Try uninstalling Firefox, Run CCleaner for a registry check and then install Firefox again once you have cleaned the registry and done a reboot.

Seeing as the problem is Firefox related it's either a bug or a error related to Firefox so I would reinstall it.

It WORKED!! thanks a lot!!

Aparently every cookie cleaner would clean the en.thewitcher.com cookies not the thewitcher.com cookies. hence why it didnt took effect. Its working now. thanks alot.
