The most memorable moment/s in the Witcher 2? (Will be filled with spoilers for sure)

So i have to ask you this what was the most memorable moment for you in the Witcher 2?

Something that made you stop and think WOW THIS IS AWESOME! or something that made you doubt the character you were speaking with... Something that made you cry or something that made you feel bad to the very core...

To me what got me in Iorveths path that made me go like WOW when at the siege of Vergen he comes with his archers i was like wooho the cavalry is here i just couldn't be more happier about that and when the archers start shooting i was like WOW amazing stuff this is so cool

When Cedric died i admit i felt bad it really struck to the core because he was really nice guy and he really felt bad about killing a dh'oinne even at his last breaths he was moved by this :'(

Roches path i gotta say when Ves meets Moril and to see how she reacted of her taking her own life i really felt bad about that and when they take Morils child to Seherim and he waves Goodbye that made me choke just a bit :(

Then on Roches path when Roche finds out that his friends were killed that really really pissed me off

The most satisfaction i got when Roche killed Dethmold because i really felt that he deserved it

So those were few of the most memorable moments for me

So now i would like to hear from yours

Cedric's death. Claws of madness quest. Dethmold getting his balls stuffed down his throat. Phillippa getting spooned. The fight with Draug. The elven prostitute repaying you with sex and then expressing relief when it was over. The mine adventure with the dwarves. having the option to let Letho go in the end.

And finally....*drum role* sex with the Succubus. ;)

Yeah i think the last one is the favorite part for men. Probably the bath scene with Triss would be my next guess

I just laughed when Geralt had her hoof propped on his shoulder. But then I've a bawdy sense of humor.

There was a similar topic about emotional hooks in TW2 http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?/topic/23634-emotional-hooks-in-tw2/ :) I don't know whether it's the same as 'memorable moments' for most people, but for me it is (and I'm too lazy to say it all again in a new thread, so I'm linking it. ;p).

I'd possibly add all those random minor and major fun moments, like meeting the crooks who wanted to steal the sculpture from the elven ruins (when looking for rose of rememberance with Triss). And the easter eggs.
Too many to remember or single them out!

I agree there are so many things that make the Witcher 2 so great that it is just impossible to remember all of them and i do like that scene where Triss says break off your own head clown :D

I think the best epic scene in whole story was wen Dethmold try to eat hes own balls!, probably Dethmold even in hell couldn't believe how beautiful he died...

I'm fascinated by siege warfare, so for me it was the very beginning with attention even to the minute details, needless to say I was impressed.

Another was the very end where Geralt touches the little ladybird, totally superfluous and unnecessary, but it caught me off guard and made me think 'oh wow' which I supposed is one of those moments.

You know the scene where the king asks to kill that bastard with the ballista on the other side of the fortress i swear i have only hit that guy once and no such luck afterwards. Oh well i gotta practice more

The ladybird scene was beautiful at first i have to admit i did not get the scene like how the ladybird was connected to everything but after i read its meaning some where i was like oh NOW I GET IT :D

Then it all really made sense and i was little bit choked by that not to mention the graphic details of such small creature could be made alive it was like looking at the actual ladybird such beauty :)

Yeah that Ballista thing was badly done in my opinion, it really didn't make any sense as you have to aim for the wrong guy.

I wasn't aware the ladybug had any meaning? Is it related to anything? I thought it was just 'there' so to speak.

The lady bug is potentially symbolic of a number of things, not the least of which is Yennefer. There was a great thread at GoG where people were speculating about it. If I can dig it up I'll post a link.

Yeah the ladybug had a meaning i read, it had something to do with the reuniting with the one that you love in Geralts case it was Yennefer. Well so i read i think it was some where here on this site or some where else can't really remember it was while back after all :D

I found this one http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/the_ending_just_blew_my_mind_major_spoilers/page1

That was amazing.
Another great example of dedication and attention to detail from CDprojekt's team.

Picking memorable moments is tough :C There isn't one that sticks out to me, since the game is full of really amazing moments from the beginning to the end. However,

I remember this one moment, on my first play-through, when I had to choose sides at the end of Chapter 1. I was 101% convinced I would go with Roche, since I didn't like Iorveth much. But then I gave it some thought, remembered TW1 where all choices went to inevitable bloodshed, and I thought - well, may as well side with Elves then. Because I like Elves. I was so unsure of my choice, but I kept playing.

And then Geralt said, "I don't think I made the right choice..."

I just remember my heart sinking. Very, very few games made me question my decisions, but TW2 was a rollercoaster of emotions. In the end, my choice turned out to be a good one, but I was so conflicted at the time.

The business with Moril, the baby, and Seherim at the end of Act I (Roche's path) is bittersweet and lets you connect with Seherim. It makes you forget for a moment that these are characters constructed from scripts and frameworks.

It must of been hard for him to loose some one he loved like that. I understand why Moril did what she did in my mind she felt shamed ,violated. It could be that at the moment she felt like how could any one love her after that.

I really was choked by that and after Seherim waves Va fail i was like nooooooo i really felt bad. :'(

I kept thinking like so many lives lost and all because of some sick twisted son of a bitch!

I just wanted to go and kill Loredo again. Does that make me a bad person?

Yes, you are very bad. But I haven't met any "good" people :p Everyone has their demons! Some are just worse than others

One of the most memorable scenes for me was the first Letho fight. Facing off against another witcher was epic and very challenging since he could do everything you could. As far as drama went... When Vernon Roche killed king Henselt it made me smile. Henselt was a megalomaniac and he just rubbed me the wrong way. Making him realize he wasn't invincible and that his actions did have consequences was very satisfying.
