Yes, you are very bad. But I haven't met any "good" people :p Everyone has their demons! Some are just worse than others

One of the most memorable scenes for me was the first Letho fight. Facing off against another witcher was epic and very challenging since he could do everything you could. As far as drama went... When Vernon Roche killed king Henselt it made me smile. Henselt was a megalomaniac and he just rubbed me the wrong way. Making him realize he wasn't invincible and that his actions did have consequences was very satisfying.

What can i say i'm bad to the bone when i like killing bad guys.

Heards man Henselt was cracked along with his advisor Dethmold both sadistic cowards who liked to bring as much pain and suffering to every one around them. The more pain they could inflict the better they felt

Yeah the ladybug had a meaning i read, it had something to do with the reuniting with the one that you love in Geralts case it was Yennefer. Well so i read i think it was some where here on this site or some where else can't really remember it was while back after all :D

I found this one http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/the_ending_just_blew_my_mind_major_spoilers/page1

Yeah, what there seems to be is a lot of speculation on that thread. I mean, if the developers actually researched some of those myths/stories/etc and used it accordingly, then Kudos to them, but I'm not entirely convinced. For me it worked because I was unaware of any such stories, it was just beautiful, a moment of calm and reflection at a totally unexpected time in a totally unexpected place (both in game and the fact it was IN a game at all)

These are the little details I think CD Projekt Red deserve credit for.

Why would they put it there if it meant nothing it could be just one of those unexplained events in the Witcher history that we don't understand YET but perhaps in the Witcher 3 we get to see if all our fears and hopes and dreams not to mention our speculations were correct. :D

The business with Moril, the baby, and Seherim at the end of Act I (Roche's path) is bittersweet and lets you connect with Seherim. It makes you forget for a moment that these are characters constructed from scripts and frameworks.

I didn't expect a resolution to that. Didn't expect to actually find her.

For me?

Running into the tent at the Kaedweni camp with Roche and finding his men strung up there. It hit me at so many levels - the immediate shock that they were actually DEAD and this wasn't going to be a rescue quest, Roche's reaction, Ves lying about what happened to her (presumably to stop Roche from doing something stupid). Then came that frenzied race through to Vergen where I lost my way several times on my first Roche playthrough, but was in such a hurry to get there and start getting revenge.

Then it hit me at the game level. This was my second playthrough. The first time, I'd taken the Iorveth Path, and I was expecting Roche Path to mean fighting on the opposing side at Vergen. I'd been expecting a simplistic, black-and-white "Support the freedom fighters against the oppressors" or "Support law and order against the terrorists" decision. Instead, I found that it didn't matter which side you took, or what your personal beliefs were, it was always a good choice.

So yes, it was the moment when I realised how truly amazing this game was.

Amen Brotha!

Man, really hard to choose, but i think my favourite moment was getting revenge on Dethmold with Roche. Geralt and Vernon kicking ass together was awesome to see. And the death of Dethmold scene - that whole cutscene had a really eery quality, creeped me out.

I loved the little touch that after you killed Loredo's mom, your eyesight was all hazy from the fishtech you got in your face.

Oh, and the part where Vernon falls through the wooden bridge in Vergen, only says "F*ck!" and smashes the first Kaedweni he sees in the face - that put a big smile on my face.

One more: Piece of lembas.

The trolls outside Vergen . Sorry made me smile for many reasons . This game was so serious at times that this comedy release was great it also showed that creatures have marital problems too which Geralt had to try and fix .

The most memorable moment for me has to be the final confrontation with Letho. The Wolf and the Viper sharing vodka, talking and then each going their separate ways. I cannot stress how much I love that ending.

After a weeks long relentless pursuit, an old friendship was revisited and a new respect emerged between these 2 foes and brothers in Witcher-hood. The divide between Witchers on how to adapt to a new world was catalyzed. I cannot stress how much I love that ending. In addition to all the emotions in game, that moment showed me that CDPR respects me as a gamer. It didn't force a boss fight on me for the sake of it, it allowed me to avoid fighting all together and by God, it was more satisfying than any final boss.

A brilliant moment, watching those two old friends saying farewell.

Cedrics death, he is one of the character I wish we could have gotten to know better. Such a shame he had to die:(
Seherim and the baby is just so darn sad, but touching at the same time.
There is just so many little things in this game I love its hard to pin point what got to me the most to be honest.

Brilliant bit for me is that if you actually piss Roche or Iorveth off, they do kill you. It kinda woke me up a bit when I was playing. You cant be rude without consequences.

Still Foltest's death is memorable to me. I know it's simplistic and probably banal..... but I used to love him coz he looks like one of my fave actor, Michael Wincott :'(

Aaand.... Moril. I mean, Death to the traitor quest. Rude, cruel, dark, bloody...

A few weeks ago I started my second playthrough with Iorweth. Now I'm in the second act and a really funny moment was the dialog with Iorweth and Philippa when they talked about the Rings.
I laughed when I heard Geralts answer.

Again bumping up old topics but I'm kinda new to W2 (though have already played it through several ways).
Soo...

Foltest and Cedric's death
These cutscenes were so very beautifully executed. Even though we only got to know Cedric for a little while, I think he had some real depth and I grew kinda attached to him. Was sad to see him go :(. He was such a good, tragic guy. He deserved better but at the same time I can't deny how beautiful the whole scene was. Foltest's death really affected me as well. The music, the use of slow motion... gahh.

Letho-Geralt-Iorveth-Roche showdown and the aftermath of it
Fighting another witcher was awesome (he kicked my ass many times XD) and before that was the whole business with the freaking sword which changed things so very much. I automatically gave it to Iorveth cause I was like “Duuuuudes, don't go beating up an unarmed guy who was helping me!”
That decision had many consequences. It caused all hell break loose in Flotsam and made the whole “Crossroads” business so freaking hard. I felt like I had somehow connected with Iorveth and his behaviour towards me seemed to have changed. But at the same time I felt like I owed Roche since he got me out of prison and put his trust in Geralt even when there was no evidence of his innocence. I seriously had to quit the game, sleep through the night and think about it really hard XD. In the end I followed my instinct and left Flotsam with Iorveth. One of the reasons being how I felt about Cedric.

Moril's fate
The whole Death to the traitor! -quest is one of my favorites. It's dark and dramatic and has a bittersweet ending. When I saw Seherim with the baby... I was totally speechless. The quest caused many feelings; from fury to sadness.

Roche is still my pal ... and Triss is a statue
Thanks to my decision to go with Iorveth I was afraid that the things would go more like in the first game and siding with the Squirrels meant I was an enemy to the Blue Stripes. So when I ran to Roche, I was like “Nooooo don’t make me fight him”. Imagine my surprise when instead of having a grudge he still helped me and saved my ass from getting butchered. It also opened my eyes to the fact that this whole thing was far more complicated and that Iorveth and Roche weren’t Yeavinn/Siegfried 2.0.
Also, the moment when Geralt realizes he had been carrying Triss with him was like DAUMNNN!

The fate of the Blue Stripes + Siege of Vergen
This was the point where I decided I liked Roche’s path more. The climax of Chapter 2 is one of my favorite moments in the whole game. First witnessing the massacre that happened, seeing the flashback of Ves, Roche’s reaction…
I had a real "YESSSS BRO, we're going to make them pay!" thing going on while I fought my way to and through Vergen with Roche at my side. It was like Roche and Geralt vs the world. The part in Vergen was awesome. I loved the music, Roche ramboing and the fate of Henselt. Also…

THIS! I had thought that I would be forced to join Henselt in the battle or something but then the things went in a way I didn’t expect. It was an awesome feeling.

Ready or not Dethmold, here we come!
The same feelings from Chapter 2 continued when I went to save Anais. It's another one of my top moments because Geralt and Roche worked so beautifully together. I loved battling Dethmold’s minions. Then, when Roche finally got his hands on Dethmold I was like “WoaaaAAH youch! O_O” Certainly a scene I’ll remember.
The epilogue if you gave Anais to Natalis was also something I really liked. Loved when Roche told how Anais was starting to get better and how he gave her his special forces dagger. The same one he used to kill Henselt (in my game he did) and cut Dethmold's balls off. You have a way with children Roche

Siege of Vergen - Iorveth's path
The epic music did much to make this moment memorable. Unfortunately my game tended to crash a LOT during this sequence and it kinda ate some of the atmosphere. I need a new PC >_
