The Mox Deserve More! Let V Become One of Them!

+
Dear CD Projekt Red team,

I want to share an idea that could greatly enhance the roleplaying experience in Cyberpunk 2077: allowing V to officially join the Mox as a faction, similar to how they can join the Aldecaldos.

Currently, the Mox are one of the few groups in Night City that prioritize community and protection rather than greed and violence. However, after Evelyn Parker’s storyline, they don’t play a major role in the game. It would be great to have an update or expansion where V can earn their trust and become part of the Mox family.

If implemented, this could work similarly to the Aldecaldos' system, where V must complete specific missions to prove their loyalty, such as:

  • Defending Mox bars from Tyger Claws attacks.
  • Helping the Clouds become independent (if V chose to save the dolls).
  • Rescuing Mox members kidnapped by Scavs or Tyger Claws.
  • Investigating human trafficking rings in Night City.
After completing these missions, Madame Rogue or another Mox leader could officially recognize V as part of the family, unlocking special rewards such as:

An apartment inside Lizzie’s Bar.
Exclusive Mox-themed clothing and vehicles.
Combat support from Mox members, similar to how Panam and the Aldecaldos help V in certain missions.

This would provide a new urban-focused alternative to the Aldecaldos' ending while reinforcing the Mox as a major faction in Night City. It could also add more depth to the game by giving players a meaningful way to stay in the city without aligning with corporations or gangs.

I hope you consider this idea for a future update. Thank you for your amazing work on the game.

Best regards.

I'd go harder, let V join any of the gangs. There are plenty of points in the game where you do a good turn for each of the gangs, maybe at that point they might ask you to do a few gigs for them and then ask you to join. The lack of affiliations in the game is a weak point, IMO. Also letting V become an NCPD informant or even undercover officer (bound by police rules which could be interesting), an independent News 54 reporter, etc.

Yes, I get V is an independent merc and all, but it would be cool to let the player make that choice and the lack of these things just looks more like CDPR wanting to limit the scope of the game (which is understandable) than anything else.

I think an expansion that added these kinds of affiliations with a few gigs each, along with companions that could stay with you around town and go on missions, would be a DLC many including myself would pay for. You could team with your romantic interest, or persuade or hire other folks (from the Afterlife?) to join you for single missions or long-term contracts. Maybe you have to share loot with them too, or at least give them a cut of mission reward eddies.

I mean, Rogue had Santiago...
