It's a cool tune, though it's a shame it's 54 seconds long./edit:Wait, I'm confusing it with Act III's. Actually I can't recall Act IV's since there was a band playing at the inn overriding it's theme.

Actually, it's 2 minutes long, and you can hear it if you move closer to the bar area of the inn, where the male innkeeper is, also during a loading screen when you're exiting the inn.

hmm... well I honestly don't see why it shouldn't be legal. But the problem would be to find the name of it to begin with >_

you can't find that track in music directory... but it is available on CD with OST (included to european version of the game).

Actually, from what I managed to find out and put in the wiki, the OST is included only with the Polish, Czech, Hungarian and Russian versions. The Western European limited edition has the "Inspired by" CD, and all other versions have no music CDs.

I think that gloomy music in Fields are great, that same ambience music is everywhere at night, and for specific piece of music : Murky Water inn music is best from all

Joining the praise: The Witcher has an exceptionally excellent soundtrack :)When I listen to it outside the game, it brings up such clear visual and emotional associations: tragedy and glory of battle (Old Vizima ambient) , magic, nature and secrets (Lakeside at night ambient), mystery, horror and courage (menu music), not to mention the whole story the intro music tells :)But I especially like the combat themes, because most of them are really monumental. In many games and movies the action music is intentionally made dissonant and confusing so as to scare the audience even further; but in the Witcher many combat arrangements have memorable, singable tunes (notably in Salamandra fight scenes). What else to say… I just love it!

Ive played through the Witcher several times now, and have to say, the in-game music is some of the best Ive heard in any game, most games I turn the music off by the 2nd or 3rd playthrough, and just have something playing in winamp. How did they make the music for the game, did they hire an orchestra? I especially love the music in Chapter 4 by the lakeside, where the Fisher King is, it has a kind of Scottish highlander feel to it with the bagpipes.. I think the actual music file is C:\Program Files\The Witcher\Data\music\amb_brzeg.ogg. The nighttime music there is cool as well, C:\Program Files\The Witcher\Data\music\amb_brzeg.ogg, I listen to these files sometimes when I'm not playing the game.Just wanted to give props to CDP Red for an awesome soundtrack. :)

All themes are composed by P. Blaszcak and A. Skorupa. You can listen to them and download it here.btw. the soundtrack was award by IGN http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=7650.msg205482#msg205482 :) It's indeed a masterpiece.

Indeed the soundtrack is a work of genius. My favorite track is A Lesser of Two Evils, it's really quite dramatic and good for battle.I hope the next Witcher will have similar quality music.
