A-mazing, brilliant and brutal trailer. but...
It's really frustrating that in the trailer they call it
"the open world of The Witcher Wild Hunt" and "welcome to The Witcher Wild Hunt".
WTF ??
:mean:
this game is third and final chapter of The Witcher saga. it's not a goddamn standalone !!!
The actual devs have been referring to it as The Witcher: Wild Hunt as well for a very long time now.
I believe ever since they changed the logo to the current one we have now.
Where it went from having a normal 3 beside the word Witcher;
To a Roman numeral in between the sub-title of Wild Hunt;
It's clear there is a lot less emphasis on it being a sequel now than before, since a new player base to the series will be in the majority this time around.
It's more a self contained game now, in the sense that it can stand on it's own without needing to have played the last 2 games, but while also continuing on from where the last game left off.
I suppose the one drawback we'll have now is the not-so-bright people will go
"DAMN, can't wait until they make a Witcher 2!"
or
"What do you mean play the last two Witcher games? Stop trolling, it clearly says Witcher Wild Hunt! This is the first one stupid!"
