I am just a bit confused as the PAX was set in No-mans land IIRC and unless Geralt traveled quite some time out of No-mans land to fight with the royal wyern it can only really be Oxenfurt can't it?Looks like Novigrad to me.

There will no ubersampling in the day of release. At least according to what Konrad Tomaszkiewcz said ( I think it was him) on polish site. The ubersampling will be a feature in some patch later, cause it would kill the perfomance ( as it was with the WItcher 2 )in May 19th. I believe it was very good decision. It will add some fresh air when it will come out later.I don't think it's ultra, because I'm noticing a distinct lack of ubersampling that a lot of the screenshots display, but I don't think anybody who watches this trailer is going to come away worried about a downgrade anymore, myself included.
Hype Train is over 9000.
Yeah, it's Oxenfurt I reckon.I am just a bit confused as the PAX was set in No-mans land IIRC and unless Geralt traveled quite some time out of No-mans land to fight with the royal wyern it can only really be Oxenfurt can't it?
Ubersampling does not represent the width and breadth of what ultra options cover, certainly. But when people talk about 'Ultra', they are generally talking about 'Maxxed out graphics options' which Ubersampling falls under.ubersampling =/= ultra settings
Two entirely different things in my books. And if you run the game on 4k ubersampling is pointless anyway...![]()

Ubersampling is just another way of using downsampling. It's basically a resolution thing and so it falls into the same category as 4k for me.Ubersampling does not represent the width and breadth of what ultra options cover, certainly. The video, and all (most) of the promotional screenshots, are not in 4k, so it does in fact make a difference for the content we've been receiving.
CDPR have also explicitly stated no ultra footage prior to release. I'm simply making the case that since certain post-processing effects that are present in some of the screenshots are missing from the video, it's very likely that they haven't reversed this decision, and we are likely not seeing the game on 'Ultra' settings.
+ tessellation + shadows + lighting +physics/hairUltra in the Witcher 3 will mostly impact on grass textures and density and face textures accord to what Gamestar said.
Well, the trailer wasn't about the overall narration in the game like - at all. It's a trailer that should show the players the opportunities in the game and how the game looks and feels in certain situations. That's why it's called a gameplay trailer and not a story/narrative trailer. The whole trailer is fantastic, although I'm not a big fan of the narration. But well, hardcore witcher fans are obviously not the target of this trailer. A bit surprised the Wild Hunt wasn't even mentioned.
