To go off topic - I highly, highly recommend it. There is so much incredible art in there from members of the forum community (and others as well). Many of them have been personally inspiring to myself.

Actually I've just started browsing it, I think by chance I must have jumped to the section where you were throwing all your Art out, and it's absolutely amazing. Yea I really regret not doing this sooner.

And as for the last little bit there, well yea, I expect that in just about every thread where Ciri has the potential to be involved... Thankfully I'll be browsing just for the Art, and not for Ciri ramblings

Thanks for the laugh and the nod. Funny enough, I got to looking at it again and it does have a bit of a Kate Beckinsale feel to her face. Totally not intended.

plz no guys, I for once dont like *most fan arts with Yen having that perpeptually pissed off look with sharp eyebrowns, masculine nose and short face, they lost most the appeal to me (yes Sorceresses are supposed to be attractive by mean of magic). I'm also very skeptical about how those'll look in animation. I dont think the current model is as bad as everyone made it out to be, the general complaint is that it looks too innocent, too stylized, lack of arrogant, assertive look etc. I'm not even sure how people look for all these features in an animation render with blank expression. And it's definitely no Bioware tier

It was pretty horrible and looks like it should be scraped by the same criteria here, but in the actual gameplay with animations and lighting it's not that bad (It's the SoD model that everyone is voting for)
I could be playing the devil's advocate here since I actually prefer another version of Geralt's face, and I also think this version of Yen needs some improvement.

Just posting this to let CDPR know that there are people who read the books and prefer the current model of Yen to majority of the fan art versions :rebel:

I think that it would be best for CD Projekt RED to show a short bit of gameplay with Yennefer in it to show that the fears displayed here are baseless. They'd best do it soon though, or there's going to be a riot!

I'm not a massive hardcore fan like some of you are, and I'll probably get some hate for this, but let's wait and see what they pull out of their hats OK? Complaining like this just makes us all look immature and spoiled.

I also like the Sword of destiny version more than the one from the guide. It's not perfect but it's a really beautiful face. Also what Zorn did to the guide's version a few pages back - that's awesome!
I don't actually believe the models from the guides even if they are the final thing they are not gonna look like that ingame, i'm sure. them seem blank, and there's some weird thing going on almost like a fish-eye effect in the closeups, I agree with Selfluminous. Iet's have faith in the devs, they are gonna make her awesome for sure!

At the most, and it's stretching it, it makes posters in question look immature and spoiled. And those who would deem us all immature and spoiled over a few posts can't possibly aspire to lecture on maturity.

I don't think REDs need to quickly quench criticism with footage. A in-game screenshot will do just fine and I see no urgency even in that. It's ironic to say the thread is acting as immature and spoiled brats but then ask devs to readily satisfy the craving of immature and spoiled brats. In my opinion, next morsel of footage should stay away from story, character and location spoiler territory. Besides EGX is around the corner and the latest build is said to be making an appearance. Who knows, maybe Yen will make an appearance as well.

Anyway, as always, appreciate your input.
