They could at least tell us if it can be fixed without a restart. Im good with doing side stuff till the next Patch
Got 2 bugs during this quest:
1) When the mission is finished and you go out, Jackie stayed inside the building so I cannot end the quest because I was not able to speak with him, cannot go back inside the building because there is a Maelstrom guy at the door pushing me out.
Had to reload and go out of the building and checking Jackie was following me.
2) When I finished the mission and Jackie got on his bike to leave, he ran into the street lamp just in front of him and got stucked. I heard the sound of the bike leaving but the bike with Jackie didn't moved in the game.
Bug on PC version 1.03 GOG

Hi everyone! First time poster. After about 3 hours I found a solution to this issue but it's pretty unpleasant. On this quest if you reload to any point when you still have Jackie (for me I had to reload all the way to when we were sitting on the couch) the solution is basically move extremely slowly through the entire food factory encounter. It's important that at no point Jackie disappears. From my various tests and reloads I can say that he disappears if you get too far away from him. This means walk slowly everywhere and ensure he follows you. I couldn't loot everything within the factory because in certain rooms he disappears. If you get to the part where you leave the factory he should walk out with you. If he disappears reload and try again. Once again it took me 3 hours of playing with it before I figured out that the issue was getting too far away from Jackie and him disappearing. Additionally when you first climb the later after meeting with Royce and Dum Dum he will disappear or get stuck if you run too far ahead. I hope this helps!

I dont have any save game from the beginning of the quest. And he just disappeared. His bike is in front of the factory without him.
That's super unfortunate. Me too. I'm downloading the new patch atm but it's not listed in the foxes, so we'll see
same here..pointless to waist another 10h when you must finaly restart anyway...
game is veeeery buggy on ps4pro..put looks great.

Same here, I'm on the quest "The Pickup" and I have to meet Jackie after meeting with Meredith and I also had like three or four calls from Jackie at the beginning of the quest, and I answered all of them even though he was saying the same things over and over again. So now I have to meet him but I don't have his location or tracking but I managed to find where he is supposed to be thanks to videos on youtube. When I go there his bike is there, the game even makes me automatically get out of my car but he isn't present. I tried loading a previous save, passing time, fast travel, calling him, restarting the game, re-installing the game, even with the latest game version 1.0.4 on PS4 Pro nothing works. We really need a patch for this because I already have 20 hours on this game and I don't want to restart everything. Please fix it CD Projekt. Not going to touch this game again until it's fixed.
Guys, id recommed u loading the save from the start of pickup quest - for me it worked. Even if the bug will be fixed im afraid that it will not be possible to go on on the saves that are already affected by this.
I'm afraid you are right and maybe I'm just in denial but I'm going to wait for an official response from CD or a fix. I seriously don't want to do 20 hours of game time all over again. Would seriously keep me from playing this game again for quite some time.
Yeah I'm about 20 hours in to my game, too. And I probably unwittingly had this bug without even realizing it at hour 10, so none of my saves go back far enough. I DO really enjoy the game? But 20 hours of side missions is a lot of content I'm not sure I want to repeat... Pls fix :<
please fix it, I'm so suffering...My friends played the whole afternoon. I want to do the quest and discuss with them...
