''The Pickup'' Quest bugged.

Same to me.
Navigation to Jackie disappeared. I drive there but he is not in allfoods. There is only sad lonely bike...
Sad just like me to have to leave this all story and start new game.. cdp help! It's about 15hours of side quests and a lot of experience and lvls!

Also had issue with looped phone with Jackie.

I have 15 hrs on this and at Level 13, finished all side quests and NCPD available on Watson but now I cant do anything at all because I'm having the same issue as everyone here. I cant find Jackie even outside All Foods.

This thing really needs to be fixed or at least RESET. No way we wanna play through all 15-20 hours again, gear up again just for this bullshit.

Same here. Finished all side quests in Watson. Just browsing the streets and shooting random tiger claws, scavengers and psychos now. Have nothing left to do. Tried to break into port, killed the guards and robo-man, but the entrance is locked, regardless. Does CD Projekt RED even know about this forum thread?

Same problem here. No marker and no Jackie at the location just his bike which is indestructible. Cleared all the open map, have no saves prior and I don't want to have to restart this.

Same problem here. After meeting with Meredith Jackie disappears, no quest marker, get the call loop many people get when calling Jackie... So frustrating, cause as many people here, I did´n´t even realise the bug occured until all my autosaves went way past the point to go back. Started a new playthrough with 15 hours in, let´s see if it will occur again. Although seeing the amouunt of threads here about main mission glitches and bugs that bar your progress... I don´t know. Obviously too late to refund the game (steam). By the time they (hopefully) sort out this mess the game is already gonna be like half price, meanwhile many people who bought it early for full price can not play the game.
Knowing CDPRs past I do have confidence in them that they will fix these issues, but until then we bought a game for 60, that we can not even play.

Doesn't change the fact though that the game is full of bugs that won't let you progress, and thats just the first act. By the time these will get sorted and many of us will be able to play again the game will be discounted with the fame its gaining, meanwhile many people paid full price for an icon on the desktop and for the game to sit in the library.

I don't mind the useless AI of the npcs (scale is not an acceptable excuse here, look at Hitman). I don't mind the lack of emergent gameplay, if I want that I go and play far cry. I don't mind that V is floating in a T pose above the car half of the time when driving around. I don't mind that the game is massively different from the "never seen before depths of role-playing" that they promised, because until it works i still have fun with it. But having bugs that prevent you from progress i really do mind. And just a quick look at this forum can tell you the game is littered with them. That is what is unacceptable, not the texture glitches.

I may have a solution for you.

If you still have this problem with Jackie who disappears during a job/quest, then try saving your progress with a new save file and reload it.

You have to save after you see that he has disappeared. Don't try to reload a previous save to fix this. (Please do a new save file just in case, I won't take responsibility when you overwrite old save files)
To my knowledge, this seems not to be a savegame-related issue it's a bug in the game engine. Reloading a previous save may trigger the event with the same bug again.

It happened to me too with another quest and this way I could manage to fix the problem (on PC platform). Maybe it'll work out for you too.

If you still have this problem with Jackie who disappears during a job/quest, then try saving your progress with a new save file and reload it.

You have to save after you see that he has disappeared. Don't try to reload a previous save to fix this. (Please do a new save file just in case, I won't take responsibility when you overwrite old save files)
To my knowledge, this seems not to be a savegame-related issue it's a bug in the game engine. Reloading a previous save may trigger the event with the same bug again.

It happened to me too with another quest and this way I could manage to fix the problem (on PC platform). Maybe it'll work out for you too.

Thats assuming they even fix this bug for us, in a way that can salvage our saves.
as I said originally. I don't care if it's a console command. to reset his position out side of all goods. just give us an option.

Yep, including all the save files and mentioning the relating "infinite calls from Jackie" issue which may have been the trigger for the whole ordeal.

Same issue here... And I don;t have any manual save files before this mission and all my auto save files are after I started this mission (thought I had to wait so I went on doing side missions for a few hours).

So now it's either:

- Wait for a patch
- Start all over again.

I;ve made a video of the place Jacky is suppose to meet me. His bicycle is there. Rest is missing.
And my car is flying for bonus points

Didn't do anything for this bug. Reported it, now I guess we just wait. Tonight I'll give it another go with a new playthrough, in this save i am nocalling anyone on the phone, unless its mission critical. Just in case its that that causes the bug

Haven't tried it yet but just found this jank-as-all-hell workaround:

Looks liable to break something so be careful but hopefully it works.

update: this didn't work for me, you can get inside but the doors are locked and there's no Jackie. Looks like it's actually a solution to another bug that can occur later in the quest.
