The Polish dub

Hello there!I'd like to ask a question about the availability of the Polish dub in countries other than Poland. While I myself already ordered the Gram.pl version, there are many people out there living in other countries voicing their interest in acquiring a Polish version of the game. To my surprise not only Polish emmigrants, but also people with a basic, or even no grasp of the language consider lack of international shipping form gram.pl a problem, since the original dub of the Witcher seems to have gathered such high esteem, that they are willing to listen to Polish voice acting with English subtitles on!One such community where this subject was raised is GOG.com. For example, I'll link to two topics:http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/original_language_versionhttp://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/the_witcher_2_polish_language_protestSo I'd like to inquire into this matter, so as to give the good people at GOG.com some official Word of God on the subject. Will the Polish dub be available internationally? If not, what are the chances of putting up a patch that will give them the localisation? Or should they wait until EMPiK and other polish stores carry the Gram.pl edition, and pay for shipping?Thank you kindly for any info.

It would be a shame if the language freedom from the previous game would be removed in the sequel. It seems uncertain what is official or not about this question though. When I mailed gram.pl they didn't know if the game would support any other language than Polish, as they had yet to "receive" enough information about it.Thus I'll also add my question here in this thread. Will the Collector's Edition from gram.pl also include support for English interface and subs?

Bumping this, since would like an answer on this issue also, has one of those who play the first witcher with Polish voice most of the time (Will be playing with German language once my German is advanced enough has a learning tool)So I admit keeping the same separation between voice acting and UI/text with has many language available would be very nice, even if not integrated in the distribution itself, at least make them available has free DLC for those who desire.

I'm not sure about TW but nowadays games are so graphic heavy that often localized versions leave things out (that the publisher deems unessential) because of the space limit of a dvd. Including the audio and subs in various languages (surround sound etc.) may exceed the data capacity of a double layer dvd. Meaning an additional disk is needed. Now I fondly remember times when games came on 5 cd's (The Longest Journey) but times have changed, I guess cost cutting is the priority nowadays. Anyways I keep my fingers crossed for a release with all dubs and subs included that one can combine in any way he wishes :) Hopefully not on a blu ray. :p

Hi guys! Probably the voice-overs will be limited to regions (not always equal to one country) so still, there's a possibility for the Polish (and other) VO to be available in other countries. Please note it's not officially communicated yet and still needs a confirmation from our side. I hope every country will get something more than only native language pack.

Also nowadays digital distribution of various media if far more advanced, so putting up a downloadable language pack as with TW1 is still a possibility that cuts costs compared to releasing them all in the retail version, and makes foreign customers who wish to experience the game in a language that differs from their regional happy. Thanks Alek_ for your answer! I will re-post it at GOG.com and we'll all wait in anticipation of any official news.
