No, I meant your system specifications like what Windows version, GPU and CPU you're using, how much RAM you have, that sort of thing.

If you are unsure, press the Windows key/start button and then press R or select Run. Type dxdiag in the window that appears and press 'Enter.' In the new window, click on "Save all Information." This will produce a file with your system information, you just need to copy/paste the information here.

Try lowering the Texture Memory Size from the Advanced Options in the Witcher 2 launcher. If that doesn't work, and you're using a 32-bit system, then do the following:

- Click on Start/Press the Windows key
- Select Run/Press R
- Type 'cmd' and press 'Enter'
- In the window that appers, type: 'bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072' and press 'Enter'
- Restart your PC

graphics minimum still crashes
although the game ultra settings, no brakes
bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072 not helped

Hmmm, make sure you've restarted your computer after using the bcdedit command.

If you already have and the problem persists, check if you have the latest drivers installed (this tool might help with that). Then try turning off your antivirus software and/or any unnecessary applicatons running in the background. Deleting your older saved games might help as well.

Have you ran a game file integrity check through Steam ? Also does the crash only happen with F5 or does it also happen when manual or auto saving ?
