Another somewhat concerning bit regarding a 2019 release date is that (unless I missed it) there has been no announcement yet that all the English voiced content is already finished in the game, and this is something I would expect as a major milestone 5-6 months before launch.

Also Cyberpunk Red was delayed from it's planned release in August and one of the reasons for that was ensuring the inner consistency with Cyberpunk 2077 story. That means the story details might be still in state of flux, which would indicate that the game main content is still not finished.

More than main content, I would say that lore and side quests need to be updated. Or the other way round, RED needs to be fixed.

Yeah. Strange to think, but I suspect the game has begun superseding the source material in priority.

Cyberpunk Red will go on to make thousands. Cyberpunk 2077 wil go on to make millions.

I agree, changing a couple of lines in a book is way easier than changing a couple of lines (= quests and whatnot) in a videogame.
