The Remaster, old bugs, and other issues.

Hello.

I have some thoughts regarding some old bugs and issues in the upcoming remaster. The first one is probably the most annoying issue that has been around for years at this point.

  • Something that has been grinding my gears since release (or at the very least next gen update), is the static sound in the background whenever there is a thunderstorm in Skellige. Urialla harbour is a really good example as it's always a storm there the first time you visit. I'm on Xbox seriers X (and previously on Xbox One X). It sounds like a speaker is about to break. There is static sound just as the thunder strikes. All of my friends have the same issue and play on the same type of hardware. Is there any word on if this issue will be fixed with the remaster? I really hope so.
  • Will there be any gameplay balance fixes regarding quest levels and rewards in the remaster? It's always been really odd how levels are distributed among quests. The Wolf Armor treasure is level 14 (along with the level requirement) while you will have to be much higher level when you can actually can collect the quest. Ugly Baby that takes you to Kaer Morhen, for example, is level 19. There are a number of quests where this is an issue. Rewards are poor or really lackluster if your level Is to high. I know there are tons of quests so leveling is not really the problem, but rather, the rewards.
  • Third and last. Can't you skip the Dandelion's speech when loading save games? At this time I feel it just takes longer to load the game than it really has to. Give us an option to toggle this on or off at the very least.
Hope this feedback helps in some way.

Besides these issues. Probably my favorite game of all time. Keep up the good work!

Hello

I’d like to chime in with my own observation

I don’t know where to post this, so I’ll try it this way. This is a response to The Witcher 3 Remaster. Could you please add more comments from Geralt in Kraina than just “The wind is blowing”? Something like, “It’s beautiful here,” or “etc.”? Just some additional dialogue... The fact that he’s practically silent and just repeats the same line every now and then is kind of sad when I compare it to other games in this genre.

Thank you

My wife and I grew up on The Witcher and your game, and we both still love it just as much as our sons do :)
