My guy, no one is asking for more sex, like what even is wrong with you? A lot of people want more interaction with currently available romances, and some characters in general, so that it's not over as soon as the relationship starts.

If you just go out of your way and properly browse through the threads where this topic is being addressed, you will understand the real problem here.

I don't care what people want to do. I'm not the judgmental type. If someone wants more sex in a game, I couldn't care less, it's their preference. Though ultimately it will be the devs who decide. So, I don't tend to argue about what others want to see in a game.

The sex scene with Alt is pretty well done. Also liked the one with Judy, which was more emotional. The scenes with the dolls are great moments as well, even though not sex scenes, still pretty intimate.

I don't think the scenes with Meredith or prostitutes are supposed to be very good. It's soulless sex, you get done with a 15 inch dildo. Did people expect a love story with the cold corpo bitch?

On the actual sex scenes one can disagree to world's end, so not getting I to debate about them content wise.
What boggles my mind is it's fast and quick cuts from scene to another, as if I was 12 again watching late night Playboy shows on VCR on fast forward occasionally peeking over my shoulder in case my mom or someone walks in.

No matter how bad it is, if it's there then at least show it and don't make it a fast forward flashes.
Artistically I understand what they were trying to portray with the early scene with Jackie, spending time doing this and that and time flies by. There it worked, but for these sex scenes it does not.

While this thread is based on a point of personal preference I would still like some suggestions on how you feel the sex interactions could be improved? On the point of tempo I could maybe agree for certain ones, some could probably benefit from being longer, but again that seems largely subjective. Missing erotic? I can only assume you mean things not shown, like sexual acts, penetration etc? Fair point, it probably matters to many. Mechanical, I guess you mean scripted without any personal input? Valid concern for sure. Cuts were horrible, again subjective, could you please elaborate what kind of cuts would you prefer, if any at all actually? Please, I wanna know if there is a point for improvement you can make that I could support outside of generalizations to the negative. Thank you.

Personally when I heard all the info about the sexual bits of romance and joytoys I did assume that there would be more interactivity in the act and that it would be lot less scripted and show more. Looking back now maybe my assumptions were misplaced and just fueled by what I was hoping for instead of what was actually advertised. Not sure.

But I am pleasantly surprised and I agree with the decision to make them as they are.
The sexual scenes in CP2077 seem to be very focused on representation of the character you are intimate with. They don't go towards giving you freedom, they go towards showing types of varying intimate approaches to sex based on the personality and traits of the character you are intimate with. For example V's behavior in these scenes, when having the role of initiator, is again not to be necessarily satisfactory to V but to better display the affection and sexual act that fits the character V has sex with. Some simple direct obvious examples of this would be Meredith Stout's scene, which comes as bit of a surprise at first but you instantly realize, ah yea, makes perfect sense for her. In Alt's scene you had to show 2 characters that weren't V, that scene feels maybe too fast paced, but then you realize that tempo fits Johnny, he wants to experience all the best poses and drives the scene to get as many of them as he can while Alt allows herself to be taken and shows trust that he knows how to lead. That scene shows their passion accurately and briefly summed it up. So you see it is used for description as well as narrative, because without that scene the events that follow would have way less impact. This approach to sexual scenes makes sense in such context.

I feel it shows artistic vision, dedication and respect for detail as well as care for the integrity of each characters unique characteristics. And this is shown in the choices of how to show a sexual act, what to choose to show and where the focus should be during the act. While I admit there is at no point that curiosity on part of V to look down and enjoy the action and show us all in its glory, which could be found to be immersion breaking since pretty much everyone would do that. I still understand why it is done this way. These scenes are basically soft porn, they aren't raw, they are very refined and selective. And we can't forget that they are shown in first person, and that has it's own logical needs. While we feel inclined to look down and confirm, penetration! Waw sex is happening! IDEALLY what we wish to focus on most is making sure our sexual partner is satisfied and enjoys it. Such is the case in Judy's scene where so much focus went on her face and expressions. These confirmations that your lover enjoys it is what gives the sex real satisfaction, and it seems many felt that with Judy's scene. There you will also see that for many sex already starts when you simply touch their face, they don't need to show more private parts to understand sexy is going on.

All this taken into account, I can only agree with the artistic decision and love of their characters. And its very respectful and encouraging.

That said for most if not all of us, the actual scenes are just a cherry on top, while they do show details about a character, they are not the real rewards for the relationship. That would be more the dialogue, the journey, the quests and interactions, the choices we make to win them over and overall time we can spend with them. So more of that please.
Am sad that some people feel that their sexual scene with the character they love was mismanaged, but am certain we will get one more set of sexual scenes at some point for all of the romanced characters and hopefully that will sort those concerns!

In tend to agree, Dragon Age, The Witcher , Mass Effect this scenes were really good. So I expected something similar from the quality level.

Don't make me laugh, early Dragon Age games and both ME2 - ME3 are nothing but dry humping scenes.

my point is if you want some super realistic sex go outside and have fun, if you want some virtual substitute find some porn on internet. this is a game and it has to sell, to various players from various environments. if they censored some ads then dont expect also having super realistic sex scenes lol. Who said theres no sex in games, there is, and you even have it in CP77. Its just funny how some people complain that sex is not realistic. And as i wrote in other thread. This is a game, not a virtual second life. Some people expect this game to a substitute to their life. You obviously have absolutely no idea what an RPG is then. No one says it is second life where did you take it from? No one said its not realistic, ppl say it was rly bad (probably cos of constant camera changes) It was suppose to be a mature game for mature ppl with mature content where CD Project Red said they don't shy away from nudity and themes around it. This obviously became a lie whether it was intended or not. Couple of patches and you have spicy strippers almost dancing in "space suits" witch breaks immersion. On a side note there are no drugs either and bds either.
Had CD Project Red never add idiotic and useless private parts customization and advertise the game as how they did this thread would probably not exist.

Why are you even here on this thread, obviously you are not interested in the immersive side of this game.

I think some people consider sex scenes as the main prize for side quests completion. But imo sex with your romance partner is consequence and logical continuation of your love relation. It’s not reason of your relations, so I find it difficult to call them “horrible” or “magnificent”.
