I ... LOVED the Meridith scene.

It was great for a laugh. I would've been happy to experience more than just one nightstand and have the intercourse be more hilariously bizarre and awkward than the next after each visit. Add some fun, crazy fairy tale roleplay one visit, and one sexy moment in the back of a taxi the next encounter. This one and done thing is no bueno. I want more Meridith's hot adventures. :giveup:

I personally have low standards when it comes to video games and sex scenes, I'm often alright with fade to black like in Dragon Age Inquisition. This is probably why I'm impressed with the BG3 ones thus far.

As for the sex scenes in Cyberpunk 2077, well at this point I think it is safe to say a lot of features are either not finished or half butchered. It is one of the many gripes that I have with the game, I also tend to agree that FPP does not help with this.

True. I've played BG3 and even in Early Access those scenes are done MUCH better than in CP2077.

I only had sex cut scene with Panam and one of those joytoy. So far so good. I can understand if having sex with certain people was boring, besides, some people prefer it hardcore while some others prefer more kisses, and there are so many more ways to do it.
The best sex cut scene method I've ever seen so far was also from a CDPR workpiece, the one in Witcher 1. That one has a black screen fade out sex "cutscene" and providing a CG art for you to collect afterward. That's perfect by my standard for a regular game, and besides, it offers plenty of room for imagination.

I am honestly surprised how many people here disliked the sex scenes, and even say Witcher did it better, lol. The scenes in TW3 are shallow and pretty cringey imo, the scenes in CP are much more raw and fit nicely with the whole cold and oversexualized style of used dystopian settings. In contrast, the scenes with romanceable characters - Judy especially - do work really well, because of the context, like theres an actual connection there. I liked them, just felt weird theres only 2 (4 eventually) joytoys in a city where you can buy buttplugs and 50cm dildos at every corner, hahah.

Those people expect a sci fi Witcher and they're mad that CDPR didn't give them that

After seeing the sex scenes in Witcher 3, I was shocked at the lack of quality (from an animation standpoint) in this game.
Mind you, I didn't expect and wasn't looking for a porn game.

The 1st was unexpected as I was just playing the Geralt character who was in love with Yennifer and didn't expect the scene that followed. The 2nd was purely accidental talking to an NPC at a bar, the last time was expected but again playing the character of Geralt and making sure his ending was with Yennifer.

Again, the 1st and only sex scene in CP2077 was unexpected with Merideth and after watching a nearly static model twitch around, I was like "Why?"

I would say that problem is FP cutscenes, not only sexscenes in particular

Is very difficult to make good FP cutscenes, and is obvious that the game don't achieve it 90% of the time.

But good voice actors can cover it, and most cutscenes just work because of that

But in scenes with none or nearly none dialog, like sex scenes, the problem become more obvious

Well sooner or later modders will unlock everything CDPR has locked regarding nudity in CP2077.
I would like to know how dirty Night City really was before someone decided to cut it off.

The only sex scene I find well made and satisfying to watch is the Judy one. It's peaceful, intimate, sweet, and fits both characters well.

I guess River's scene is okay as well, didn't really have a problem with that one.

Panam's was all over the place, didn't find it pleasant to watch, and that night vision filter on top just ruined it entirely.

Yeah. The most annoying thing during the sex cutscenes are frames changing each other constantly and very fast, romance scene with Alt almost gave me an epileptic seizure o_O

And kisses from 1st person perspective are just amusing, looks funny when our sweetheart is trying to kiss the screen :D

what is this trend to see everything realistic in games lol? "Sex scenes being not perfect"? Cmon, you have other sites for that or even better, experience that in real life! :D just kidding. This is not a virtual reality, this is just a game with its limitations as every game has. Some people expected to be their second life or whatever which is weird. Treat it like a game...

What is your problem? We have sex in movies books comics etc, actually everywhere. So why can't there be any in games? You can just skip it if you are afraid of virtual private parts and melons. This is fking cyberpunk not candy crash.
