The sheer scale of Night City

+
Yep, all evidence seen so far points towards that being City Center, its northern edge to be more precise. The district from the outside looks like a sort of gargantuan futuristic fortress :oops:
100% man nailed that description. Marc truly looks vast in general but city centre looks blade runner/Dredd like

And I can prove where Kabuki-cho is, so I'm gonna.
Sigh. Then at least take it to the right thread. I already know what your saying. You could be correct. Here is the possible alternative that is more consistent with the Metro Map (and is overlaid on real world map of Morro Bay - where Night City is built in the lore).

Red Post confirms Kabuki is in Watson. Location of the Twins confirms that Kabuki is just south of NID, along the canalbank.
Both of those also could also apply to the area on the East Bank of the canal in the map I posted above. Again as I said before, I think you're probably right, but it's a bit unclear based on the metro map. So I asked if we could get some official confirmation on the area across the way.

What we know for a fact is that Kabuki is certainly in the area that I pointed to. Does Kabuki also extend across or around the canal to the other side? We don't yet know.

My take is, that the Sakura laden area across the canal is Japan Town.

Anybody want to take a guess where these screenshots take place

The first picture is Vista Del Rey or adjacent, since you can see 6th Street Members tags on buildings. The gangoons attacking V are clearly Tyger Claws, who operate in Westbrook. Which would put that image and Vista Del Rey in Westbrook.

The second image has a building with three long skyways on it. From what I can tell, the only one of those is between the part of the central island speculated to be Heywood and eastern Westbrook.

Yeah i missed that logo, second pic has that BT tower looking building which was never seen outside of Westbrook

Corpo Plaza Concept Art;

Downtown Concept Art;

Interesting map speculation of Night City;

Red Area =Oil Fields
Light Blue= Solar Panels
Green area = Greenhouses
Light Green = Casino in North Oak, Westbrook

Mike Pondsmith comment regarding this map speculation of Night City on reddit (u/therealmaxmike);

"Not bad. I've spent (with Patrick at CDPR's help) an unholy number of hours tracking the evolution of Night City from the real Moro Bay (actually Moro Bay and Los Osos), through the 2020 period, to the RED period to 2077. Geologic maps and everything. Most of this will (up to 2045) will be in the upcoming Cyberpunk RED Edition. That should help settle most of your questions."

resolution is bad anyway, i tried to make clearer

Now that i think of it, Arroyo must be part of Heywood, not Santo Domingo...
or not after staring closely, the lines separating the districts are thicker than the sub districts.

Some interesting info from a Polish site about the markers you can find on the map, which indicate either side missions or places/people/services you can visit/acquire:

So apart from shops where you can buy food, drink or guns you can find:

  • medics
  • netrunners
  • martial arts instructors
  • ripperdocs
  • techies
  • sex workers
You can also go to a bar and have a drink. When it comes to map markers that are main/side quests or activities, they managed to notice:

  • Gun for Hire;
  • Search and Recover;
  • Thievery;
  • Agent Saboteur;
  • SOS Merc Needed;
  • Special Delivery;
  • Traveling Vendor;
  • Convoy.
You can also get jobs from fixers or help NCPD so you will find following markers:
  • Fixer;
  • Client;
  • NCPD Scanner Hustles;
  • Assault in Progress;
  • Suspected Organized Crime Action;
  • Illegal Entry;
  • Reported Crime;
  • Cyber Psycho Sighting;
  • Suspected Smuggling Activity.
I know it's just a list but I think it's a nice sneak peek at the activities that will be waiting for us in the game world.

I hope we get some minigames as activities, stuff like Poker, Blackjack, Shogi, Mahjong, etc... or that little game played by the people of Pacifica.

Yakuza showed how you can pack a lot of content into a small map.

Well done, although i think the border between Well Springs and Downtown might not be accurate since we didn't see it yet
secondly, i can't help but worry about the City Center, it looks smaller than what i imagined but i hope im proven wrong

I came across this screenshot today which i haven't seen before, i guess its one of those which got teased during the NCW countdown but most didn't see it

regardless, if im not mistaken, its a glimpse of the 4 subdistricts of watson
kabuki bottom left, little china top left, bottom right is northside and deeper is arasaka waterfront which i recognized by those three "blocks" from the concept art, also that "thorn" looking structure can be seen behind a megabuilding on the right.. i think
