Yeah, but actually, there could be a bug preventing existing dialogue with Triss :

The only thing is we don't know if that's a bug or a mistake from the official game guide...
I don't think it's a bug or a mistake. If that was a bug or mistake it would have been caught in QA. I'm sure there were several testers assigned to replay that portion of the game over and over again and being as your on a boat i'm positive they were tasked to make sure all dialogue options were in place for all the characters on that boat and i'm sure a few of them were tasked with going through every dialogue option over and over again at that point.
Trust me they knew Triss had no dialogue on the boat before the game was released, why they didn't give her any dialogue is entirely up to speculation at this point but the most probable reason is she was placed there after the game was pretty much done and they had no dialogue to give her.
I think we can pretty much say for certain CDPR just made a bad decision regarding Triss and her involvement in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt from day one. It looks like they tried to back peddle a bit at a very late stage in development by giving us the choice to choose her vs Yennefer but the damage had been done as far as the story was concerned.
The only thing left to do is to wait and see if they will stick with the game as they invisioned it with the Triss choice bandaid stuck on it or actually man up and put in the effort and resources to do it right.
If they ever decide to give Triss the role in the game she deserves or make the romance choice an actual part of the story by eliminating all the inconsistancies it will take a lot of resources and time, so you can bet this wont be attempted if ever for a very long time, i'm talking maybe a year from now.
Remember they are prioritizing bugs / optimization at this point, then the priority will be the two expansion packs, so only after the first quarter of 2016 IF they still have the resources and time will something like this even be considered.
So this is a case of someone who never played Witcher 3 picking it up 3 years from now having a better experience than those of us who decided to buy the game at release, almost wish I could fast forward 2 years so could just buy the EE version and play that instead
