So if I have it when I get back from Kaer Morhen to complete Now or Never, I can't give it to her then? Anyone every tried? That sucks.I don't think so, but you can give it after the Imlerith/sabbath quest, just make sure not to forget, i almost did.

I love your positive attitude, if CDPR gonna fix it by next week - even only the ability to avoid flirting with Yen / replacing Geralt-Yen-dating comments after you've committed to Triss - I would build a shrine in my garden and pray each morning and evening to their name.
Just to remind you: because TeamYen inside CDPR won we got a very weird (and sadly often non-existent) interactions with Triss if you choose to go for her.

Triss and Keira Metz were both advisors to Foltest before the Thanedd massacre, after which Foltest and many other kings expelled most of their mages, considering them untrustworthy.
It may actually be possible, because i don't think anyone has tried that at least not from what i have read, i think most people romanced Triss before Kaer Morhen. I guess you could keep a backup save just in case and try it, although now you have got me curious about it.
Lack of Triss is the biggest complaint I had with this game. Particularly the times when I expected her to be there (because the game and Triss herself had told me she would be there e.g. Kaer Morhen) and she wasn't. I find Triss a far more interesting character than Yen and really wanted more to do and talk about with her.

They did a great job with Geralt and Ciri, but they were so busy with that, they forgot about the rest of the characters!
I don't want to seem gloomy...I am sure its my RL filtering in on my gaming time BUT...
If it is SOOOO obvious to all of us, Triss fans, Yen fans...hell, story only fans and folks that wanted more info/details on the Hunt...seems if you read through all the boards NO one is really happy with the ending...so, if it is SO obvious, why won't CDPR commit to fixing it? Announce that 'after careful thought and deep considerations as well as listing to the masses, they will issue a Enhanced Edition with alternate ending sequences!!!"
So far a month after release, THIS thread screaming nearly constantly as well as the one on about the crappy ending...all we can get from the REDS are, "hey, it might cost too much to fix but, I'll bring it up in a meeting..."
Like I said, sorry to be such a downer right now...maybe its just a result of the latest play-through. This game/story could have been one for ALL TIME...our generation's game equivalent of the earlier BOOK generation of "Lord of the Rings"! It IS that close to me...but the nagging inconsistencies and shoddy ending makes me ill.

Hi all, I agree with you. The whole game we pushed the ratio to Yennifer, and seemed to have forgotten about Triss. I am very upset because of this. Yes, Yennifer over seven books is close to Geralt, but then why would nominate Triss to the fore in W1 and W2, if it so little attention is paid to W3? I managed to fall in love with the red-haired beauty, and she to me has more than just a character. Like all the heroes of the game. I very much hope that the CDPR pay attention to it.

Complitely agree. Even if Geralt choose Triss, I want to see how and where is Yen doing in epilogue. Why she is not with Ciri and Geralt in Empress ending, why she also can't say goodbye to her daughter?
Don't worry i think a lot of people are pretty angry with just how things are at the moment mainly because of how high we regard the Witcher games. The ending is what i expected since Dragon Age: Origins did it, but that doesn't mean i am happy with how it played out. The developers probably haven't read the 500 pages in this thread and they probably haven't gone through the other threads in great detail. I have no idea when they do these team meetings but i think it is likely they have discussed something similar to what we are all talking about. I don't know exactly what they mean about costing too much, they may add to it through an enhanced edition (if they choose to do so), but i also think they would like to add to the ending and the final third of the game merely because of how rushed it seems and surely some of the developers noticed that when playing the game. Unfortunately all of the developers i have seen on these kind of threads usually say it isn't their department so it doesn't necessarily help the cause except to as they say discuss it in team meetings and we have no idea if the higher management is for or against those suggestions.
Yeah agree. I basically had to push through the falseness of Geralt leaving Dandelion being being missing in order to head to Skellige to get rid of the horrible forced flirting and end the wish before heading back and really digging into heart of Novigrad quests. Certainly not ideal.
I'm very intrigued to see once we get the first expansion, whether we will see any reaction in it to the various issues people have raised.

I know, nothing about that was ideal, even though this game promotes backtracking to places you have already visited, leaving Geralt's best friend behind to focus on a lead in Skellige just seems so out of context. So the option is to make the story seem out of place or deal with all that flirting with Yen that you can't avoid even if you romanced Triss.
I think the first expansion is like 10 hours in length so i can't imagine there will be much in the way of reactions, still a couple of references would be helpful, maybe the second expansion will expand on these issues more (suppose to be 20-25 hours long). I think it was mentioned a while back that they haven't recorded the lines for the expansions so maybe they added or changed a few things around after reading all the issues discussed.
