The Triss content and the inconsistency of our romance's choice

I really hope CDPR is taking these issues seriously. So many little problems screwing up a great game. Need some serious cleaning up (fix interactions, choice acknowledgement, Kaer Morhen, boat and final ending)

Also for the love of God please fix the dead world at the end. It's so dead that even random NPC stops acknowledging you. I want to be able to see and interact with my friends after the wild hunt is defeated. I want to be able to fast travel to Triss and be with her while mopping up.

Eh, there's a small problem with that in the fact that the game is over.

It's a method for mopping up quests you didn't do but it's not AFTER the events of the game. It's set beforehand.

I'd prefer they work on new content.

How i play:

White Orchard
Velen - All storyline quests + side quests
Novigrad - Side quests only to get you level up (don't go to Triss house)
Skellige - Storyline and The Last Wish + if you can all side quests
Norvigad - All main quest +Triss quests
Then go get Uma and travel to Kaer Mohen

Make me feel better, at least i just assume Geralt have to go immediately to Skellige cause there aren't many ship travel there anymore ....

Yeah that's my order. Leaving Triss any later just isn't doable for me.
I hope any expansion presence can be used to fill the massive horrible Kaer Morhen hole or that they fix the game by adding new Triss content to Kaer Morhen and the last Skellige act.

I thought drinking would be a route to carry being antagonistic to Yen, given she seemed heavily against them drinking beforehand. After i saw that horrid flirtatious Geralt moment, i couldn't reload quick enough and stick with sober as a judge Geralt.

Why in TW3 is nothing like? Triss deserves more.

I don't like the idea of leaving her hanging in Novigrad especially when you're already there anyway. How do you explain in your RP not to look for her but jump on a boat to Skellige instead? She could have valuable information and even know where Ciri is. I guess it comes down to people choosing what they believe is the lesser evil or the lesser immersion breaker in this case. I'm still conflicted over this but I have a lot more time to think about it before I reach Novigrad.

I sort of tell myself that Geralt realizes Novigrad is a huge city and the leads aren't really solid. It'd be hard to find a needle in a haystack especially since the only lead is that she was in the city. So Geralt wants to see Yennefer quite badly and the leads in Skellige are a bit more promising. After finishing in Velen he heads off to Skellige to investigate. That's why I waited until I was nearly done with Skellige to even touch Novigrad. If he had seen Triss it would have been harder to break away and go to Skellige.

You can. I wouldn't recommend it though. I waited to do her quests until I hit Kaer Morhen so I did find the earrings. I gave them to her back in Novigrad and she wore them the rest of the time. The reason I would recommend waiting, however, is because if you do it before A Matter of Life and Death she wears both earrings to the party. :X Like the new ones sort of cover the old ones but in some scenes you can see em both. It just looks kinda weird.

[Edit] He also tells her she's beautiful when she blushes after he gives them to her. Feels a little smoother if they are already committed to each other. I mean he doesn't need to have told her he loves her to pay her a compliment but still. It seems more meaningful if he's already told her to stay.

Am I the only one who finds the original Triss look way better than her new alternate outfit? This new skin just rub me the wrong way...to elvish for my taste

I really like the new hair but yeah, the dress. I just don't like it as much. Her original look is better. Cuter and more practical. Plus, if you meet her outside her home at any point, she still wears that same off-yellow hood which doesn't match one bit. :X

I just can't do it.
I want to go straight to Skellige after Velen, but it doesn't make sense in terms of story...Why would Geralt go to Skellige after learning from the Baron that Ciri left for Novigrad?

Now lets look at the other side of the coin, if you do romance Triss and tell her you love her and then head to Skellige, you have Yen touch and flirting with Geralt during the dinner mission with no option to say "Hey I'm kinda committed to your best friend so uh hands off."

I want to have more interaction with Triss after Novigrad and I REALLY WANT HER AT KAER MORHEN BEFORE THE BATTLE just to see an interaction between her, Yen and the bed lol. Same for Act 3 as well.

So I guess what I'll do is finish everything in Velen, then play Batman next week to my hearts content (which I hope will give CDPJKTRED the time to ADD SOMETHING) and then get back in the game.

Tell me when they do it

The only problem is in the party in Kaer Trode, Geralt toast for "my beautiful companion" (mean Yen) with Cerys and her friends .... Can somebody advise me how to avoid this dialogue ?

I didn't drink with the warriors and Geralt didn't toast anybody. When they ask you to drink the first time just say you can't/aren't drinking tonight and then when that's over Geralt and Yen leave to go find the mask.

No, but if you complete Nameless in Skellige first and do the main quest in Norvigad there is one additional line (only if Triss get tortured )

Geralt ask Triss to use dark magic to revive Menge cause Yen have used this before (in Skellige)

Nope. No reactivity on either side. If you romance Triss and then go to Skellige, no mention of telling her you love her. If you break it off with Yen, Geralt doesn't tell anybody in Novigrad that he has done so. Triss included... Like when Triss asks how Yen is. Actually my dear Triss, that raven-haired Sorceress Superior and I are over. "Never mind. I got my answer." Wait, no! We're really over - let's ride off into the sunset together. "Well, well... Our lovebirds having themselves a little chat instead of working?" No! Get out of here you dumb merchant man, I'm trying to tell Triss that I love her. Who are your friends? Witch Hunters again? Of course... -.-'

Ouch... :X You've got a long way ahead of you before you see Triss again and even then it's pretty short. I know it goes against the 'established' order of the game or whatever and it seems weird to just leave things hanging in Novigrad but I just can't do it.
