No,I don't hate Triss, though I do dislike her in the books. And i don't only share the parts that make her look bad.For example I posted her argument with Geralt about neutrality,in which she was portrayed as an admirable and strong person.I'd say that was one of her best moments in the books.
I do understand where you're coming from. We have different point of views. But I also understand that our different point of views shouldn't stop us from seeing what good the other character did. Because as I said, more than once Triss was there for Geralt, in the games as she was in the books.
Because during the Thanedd coup. At the end of the skirmish, Geralt then met and fought Vilgefortz but the mage was far more skillful than the witcher had anticipated. Vilgefortz seriously wounded Geralt, but did not kill him (although he easily could have). Instead, the mage told him that this encounter had been a "little lesson" and then fled, presumably still trying to get Ciri.
Triss Merigold then found the witcher and transported him to Brokilon with the help of Tissaia de Vries.
We were discussing the romance between Geralt and Triss. We were discussing how beautiful it was "For us" and how much it meant to be able to experience that in-game. God knows I waited for that to happen for years.
We weren't the ones pointing fingers and calling names saying who did this, that and the other.
Geralt was no angel and the choice to be with Yennefer and not Triss was his. A choice that was made for us between the events of The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3 by Geralt's old default personalty and CDPR.
Again, we have enough to say about the times Yennefer betrayed him. But there is no point carrying on that sort of discussion, never like it and never will.
I just hope that you feel the same way we do about the inconsistencies in Triss's romance.
