The Triss content and the inconsistency of our romance's choice

Even though I also think that Geralt was her first love - in that scene with Dijkstra I believe it was just an embarrassed reaction and she wasn't trying to say he was her first love. It was just a quick reply.
I mean Dijkstra said something like: "You know what they say - Old loves never die". And Triss replied with this: "First. First love."
Actually, (I guess) she didn't mean to confess Geralt was her first love - rather meant something like: "Stop this, Dijkstra. Ours is an old love which is over. By the way, they say first love never dies..." At least this is my interpretation but I could be wrong.

There is no such thing as first love, fiction or in real-life. Every relationship we encounter feels like it's the true love we were looking for at the beginning. At least that's how it goes for most people.
But until you meet that very special someone that makes you feel that nothing else counted nor mattered, you only then understand what it truly meant.

There is only experiences, tolerance and true love.

Did she mean that he was her first love? No. Did she mean that he was her first true love? Yes.

It would be nice if you can take your LI with you. I would love to take Triss along on a witcher contract from time to time too. I love to have her supporting Geralt from the rear with the famous Triss Merigold fireball.

Plus I welcome the company from Triss any day.

So I was thinking another place where we might add a cut-scene...was talking with @vcook10 about this and maybe something could be done with Yen earlier, as when Geralt arrives at the court, to see the Emperor.

I thought a walk through the halls would be good to give the player a little more connection to Yen...I mean they are just newly reunited and the player is meeting her for the first time. It would be nice to show the player a little of what Geralt 'sees' in her EARLY...later, if you choose that romance, you see it but I think it would be nice to see that earlier on.

That would take more than just cut-scenes so, might not be the right place for it.

I am still working on some other things that could help piece some of the romance story issues back together...I'll try to post later on tonight/tomorrow...

@ Riddlin you alway have good stuff so don't hesitate just hit us with and we will give you honest feedback. Honestly.

Well,it won't fix her romance.But more content for her in the expansions definitely won't hurt.

She did many good things for Yen too.Helped her escape from the Lodge,cleared her name for Geralt,voted for Ciri.

Agree but, her romance needs serious fixing. Also it wouldn't hurt to have more freedom for players to explore their choice of Triss or Yen or the goat girl succubus on Skelliga.
