There is no such thing as first love, fiction or in real-life. Every relationship we encounter feels like it's the true love we were looking for at the beginning. At least that's how it goes for most people.Even though I also think that Geralt was her first love - in that scene with Dijkstra I believe it was just an embarrassed reaction and she wasn't trying to say he was her first love. It was just a quick reply.
I mean Dijkstra said something like: "You know what they say - Old loves never die". And Triss replied with this: "First. First love."
Actually, (I guess) she didn't mean to confess Geralt was her first love - rather meant something like: "Stop this, Dijkstra. Ours is an old love which is over. By the way, they say first love never dies..." At least this is my interpretation but I could be wrong.
But until you meet that very special someone that makes you feel that nothing else counted nor mattered, you only then understand what it truly meant.
There is only experiences, tolerance and true love.
Did she mean that he was her first love? No. Did she mean that he was her first true love? Yes.
