I simply can't understand why the devs would decide to give almost to no cutscenes and dialogues to Triss after Now or Never.Its not that they didn't give the game enough attention because its exceptional if not a masterpiece to every department except they Triss romance and maybe the final ending fate of each of your companions(for example i didn't romance Yen and the last time you see her is during the final mission and then Geralt refers to her during his conversation with Emhyr).Could they have simply forgot or missed these parts of the game?

I missed that. Whatever that sentence was intended to mean, I can't help shaking my head at how the player had to go out of their way just to get an extra line from Triss. That is a very small window of time. I was talking to the other allies and poof Yen and Triss were already gone into hall. Why can't they stop for a moment? Same thing happened after the funeral, they just went straight to Avallach while everyone else stayed behind and let Geralt talk to them.
Well I guess the most logical explanation as a lot of people suggested here before, is that they simply added the possibility to romance Triss after, and that wasn't planned at the beginning. That's why she has almost no line after the end of her quests, because in the early stages of the game, she wasn't simply a possibility of romance "until the end". They just added that somewhere before the release, and added new tweaks like the earrings, but this is not enough...
That thought terrifies me, that we might have ended up with having Yen forced on us even more without an alternative.
The devs took liberties because they set their sights high and succeeded in many areas in the game because the game is a masterpiece. They simply couldn't execute when it came to Triss content all around (romance or otherwise) because they put onus on Ciri/Yen/Geralt early on in development.
Narratively, I understand what was done with the Geralt and Yen dynamic and why it seems so prescient: the devs wanted to show the strong influence of Yen on Geralt. However, most of Yen's dialogue is flirty or romantic by default, which gives credence to the statement that their romance is forced. It could have been handled with a greater degree of variances to demonstrate that Yen is important to Geralt, but romance is no longer possible between them if you choose Triss.

Still doesn't explain why some key characters are missing from the ending cutscene like Yen or Triss(if you don't romance them) ,Dandelion and Zoltan.Lets just hope they intend to add some more stuff in future DLCs or in the expansions which i hope they take place after the last mission and the ending cutscene so they can merge with whatever ending each of us got, yes that needs a lot of work for the different endings to match but it would be awesome, plus there is plenty of time until the expansions are out.
I imagine it like this a messenger comes to your house depending who did you choose to romance so you can say stuff like "i have to do this and i'll be back quickly" etc

At least we got the option to romance her..still disappointed at how lazy they handled it
Just finished the game and i too was kinda dissapointed. Although I really liked the touches of interaction with her like the earrings she wears even in the tavern at the end. What I also found weird was that Ciri and Geralt don't make any mention of how geralt plans to move to Kovir with Triss at the end instead it seems to me that the expectation was that he still stays in business as a witcher. And even directly reference for Geralt how he would be in Kaer Morhen.And although I wanted it to be clear that Triss was now Geralts companion I would have really liked to see Yennefer too when Ciri goes with the Nilfgardians.

That was my first thought too and I still remain convinced that it's what happened. I simply can't imagine they would intentionally treat Triss the way they did.
While game deadlines and complexity make time/money management extremely complex, this is, in my eyes, still no excuse. So while I am convinced CDPR had/have good intention, these good intentions only get you so far. I hope they will be able to back up their good intentions with actions and 'fix' the problem.

CDPR can do this same with Triss and other characters
New user here. I'd add an avatar but on this site that's about as easy as finding a bride in a brothel. Anywho, I was very disappointed in the amount of Triss content in this game. Came on here specifically to complain about it. That, and CDPR's reneging on their word that there would be no level requirements for loot.

Agreed. I think CDPR will note the criticisms because they have developed a rapport to a responsive and dedicated fan base. They clearly want to produce the best products they can, so I am sure there is some discussion on this issue. Welcome to all the new people. It's great to see that many are ready to create an account just so they can express their dissatisfaction with the way Triss was handled. Same was the case with me, I was browsing this forum for years, but this was the first thing that made want to join.
Its just a bit shame that something so amazing as this game is can't reach perfection because of these little details that the devs overlooked, though i have faith in them and i am sure they will fix it first chance they get.
Yeah I had the same feeling watching the leaked files. " Passiflora Garden + Fountain (needed for Triss Romance!!) ". I know it probably isn't true, but all those exclamation marks still give me some thoughts about rush and lack of space for romance. Just my thoughts
I really hope they'll do a citadel-like-DLC but by far easier to fix (as far as I know) would be to add some obligatory explanations for the inconsistencies, and the ability for Geralt to deny involvement with Yen.
Then the commentary of the world to stop acting as if you are going for Yen, and maybe spawning Triss into Kaer Morhen with 2-3 sentences about the Djinn Wish have been broken.
(thou maybe because of U.M.A quest which she is not present in is the reason why they didn't spawn her there to begin with and adding her now would require maybe too much work - Oh... if only the plan to include Triss into the main-story was taken more seriously)
Anyway, only then comes a full fledged DLC - in terms of man-hours and planning (again as far as I know) - it won't solve this nagging feeling across the main story line - but maybe the game is already "baked" and reversing it would be catastrophic.
