Give us more shots! I want too see the actual exploration HUD, the health bar, the mini map, the boat damage UI!

You know what would be cool - all objectives in MINI-map, not just main map.

its not like the mod is laying finished on the hard drive with shots getting released every week. Im pretty sure stuff will be shown when its ready

We don't have a clear idea on the HUD yet. We still need to decide how we actually want it to be so no, there won't be any WIP shots of it until we're sure it is what we really want.

also the HUD is one of the last things on the to do list, but it's on it.
I paused working on it for a later point in time.

started working in something much much bigger and awesome thing, but we won't talk about it for now

Hello Hyadum KeeperOTF Lim3zer0

I hope I included all the people working on it. I am sorry, if I missed somebody. I don't want to criticize your loading screens very much, they look very good. The only thing which is bothering me personally (it's only my personal taste) is, that the added graphical elements to the screenshots are just a few. The screenshots of the world of the Witcher 2, which became loading screens, have been changed a little bit more graphically than your screenshots/loading screens. Also the loading screen, which Vladimir designed has a little bit more recognizable graphical changes than your loading screens.
So my question is, if you would consider loading screens, which are changed a little bit more/ have more recognizable graphical changes? I know it might be an unnecessary question, but I just had this thought, and maybe some criticism is also desired.
And to be clear I am total fine with your work, it looks great, I am only nitpicking.

Greetings
Nemo

As I am the one who did the "graphical designe" of the screens, i gotta say i disagree. Im not really sure to what elements you are referring that were more present in the Vladimirs designe. The only thing he really has put over the screenshot/image are scratches and some barely visible other texturing. Both are present on "ours" as well. I actually think the scratches are more present on ours than on the concept. So im not really sure what you mean by more recoginzable graphical changes.
The vladimir ones really arent that overly edited. Dont know if you have seen but there actually are shown more shots of other regions in the video linked on the behance page. I think it becomes more evident there.

Hi KamehamehaNudel,
I am sorry, that I did not include you into the group of addressed persons, and I am also sorry, that my text was so unclear! Thank you for the fast answer. I meant the scratches, but I was not totally sure if the scratches are the only graphical changes. I had problems in finding a word for the phenomena and probably writing in a different language than my mother tongue caused some confusion while thinking about this issue. I am glad you disagree, and that you made your point clear. After looking at the pictures again and again (also in the video), I agree with you that you have more scratches and some of them are also noticeable (or even more than his). Sometimes the visibility of them depends on the screenshot. Yes, in the video we can see that the screenshots are almost not edited, but the difference I recognized was that your scratches have been a little bit shorter than his (he has a very long distinctive scratch near to the loading symbol) and most of them are visible (at least for me personally) in other areas, and that your scratches are a little bit broader than his. His loading screens have not only longer scratches. It seems that the surface is roughed up by microscopic scratches to resemble some often used material (maybe metal or paper?). You can recognize this in the upper right corner of the loading screens. So I slightly disagree with you on this topic, but it I am only nitpicking. I don't want you to get the impression that I want it to be more or as similar as possible but if you gave it a second thought I would not be sad about it. All In all I understand that your modding is also and adaption of his work and not his work. So I want to repeat that I am more than glad that you guys are working on this, and hope you understood my point of view.
I would be very interested about an answer (Did my question/issue become clearer?), but if you don't have time, it is ok.

Thanks
Nemo

Damn this looks amazing. Is the mod close to being release or it's not even half done ? Sorry if this question was annoying, I'm just too hyped and curious.

I love it! please keep the 'flat design' when you will be working on hud elements, it looks a little out of place on concepts. I hope that some of the elements like time of the day will be optional. :)

But they are working on something much bigger?! Bruh I got goosebumps. This is already something I consider a pretty big project but they got something much much bigger???? Yooooo!!!!!!!

Just wanted to pop in again, and let you know that you guys are doing an amazing work. Vladimir's designs are a perfect blend between beautiful stylisation and UI utility. Take your time and know that it's appreciated.

I was excited to just come across the original video of this concept UI on youtube then got disappointed when i found out this wasn't already a thing, then got excited again when i saw this thread of guys already working on making it happen.

I have a few questions to ask about this when it finally does release.

1) would you guys be able to get permission to integrate live bestiary into this?..
2) The UI also showed different medallions; does this mean the medallion will change depending on what witcher school you are running with?.
3) The UI for the skill tree did not show the extended mutation tree for blood & wine, so will you guys be somehow making up your own artwork and integrating this in ?.
4) Lastly, what are the chances of this UI being able to support aspect ratio 21:9? specifically 3440x1440? because this was the main issue i had with e3Hud which is a shame.

Thanks.

1) That's my mod :) Might make it in, might not.
2) The only two medallions shown were Ciri's and Geralt's - and no plans for alternative medallions per school.
3) We will be leaving the mutations panel alone except the tooltip and icons (it's nice quality already). The skill tree will just have 4 extra slots and the large mutation added in the same style and Vladimir's.
4) Not very high - 'proper' native 21:9 support requires a significant change to the panels.

Ok sounds good i do hope live bestariary does make it though :D.

And regarding the 21:9 i should have said not "proper" support because the vanilla game doesn't do that either but what it does do that makes it feel like 21:9 is the background image fills the whole 21:9 screen just not the UI for the Menu apart from the world map tab.
An example of using e3 hud which the background image doesn't completely fill the screen https://imgur.com/a/3VNsClb
It also doesnt properly give 21:9 on the loading screens either.
