The same level of good? I consider Witcher 3 to be the best game I've played. Is BG3 on that level?

I played my version if Witcher 3 on the Switch when it was first released a few years ago, btw. Graphically not as good as the PlayStation, but still amazingly good.

Ok, personally I would say yes as good as The Witcher 3, but in a different way. In my opinion, both are masterpieces in their own genre (BG3 didn't get almost every rewards in 2023 for no reason^^).
But BG3 is a cRPG so a very differetn game. It's turn based combat, not open-world, etc...

Hello! Im visiting Warsaw in a few weeks and i really wanted to know if it was possible to visit the CDPR studio in the city and what is there to see :)
I would love to see the entire studio, as i would like to work in the industry and possibly at CDPR, but i understand its not possible to tour the whole place. Thanks in advance :D

Short answer:
Yes. It's equally as good...in its own way.

Longer answer:
TW3 and Cyberpunk are much more crafted and cinematic experiences with a grounded, gritty storyline that gets into mature narratives and nuanced dialogue. It feels more "real" in many places.

BG3 is a bit more "in your face". Perhaps more in common with cartoon dialogue, but it does NOT feel like a cartoon in practice. There are some nuanced moments, but there are more on-the-nose moments than in games like The Witcher, Dragon Age, or Mass Effect. Don't let that dissuade you, though! It does what it does very well -- it all seems to fit. Constantly.

The gameplay is what sets BG3 apart from anything else. The choice/consequence thing is taken to an insane extreme. Everything -- literally everything you do -- can drastically affect outcomes. Everything from the class or race you play, powers/spells/abilities you have available, to the dialogue options you choose, to quests that you either have or have not completed (sometimes in which order), to where you have been in the game world or what items you're presently carrying, to the composition of your party and the relationships they've developed can and will drastically alter the options you have at any given moment, the story you see, how other characters react to you, and where the story will wind up going from there.

While there are central "plot milestones" that will always play out in roughly the same order, the different ways of reaching each milestone and what you're trying to do when you get there will create completely different story lines and gameplay experiences. This is where it really shines: branching story. Suffice it to say that most games are a stick with a few twigs sticking out here and there. TW3 is a whole tree with branches everywhere. BG3 is small friggin' forest. It's like nothing that has ever existed before.

I can't agree with that!
> Outside of gorgeous graphics, mocap and fully voice acting, Pathfinder WOTR push even further everything else. But it's way less accessible for cRPG genre new comers ;)

Usually it's possible to visit our reception within working hours - take a photo, maybe even grab a poster as a souvenir. So if you're in the city, you can definitely stop by

We rarely organize studio tours though. If we do, it's usually during special occasions, like an official community meeting.

Hi, can a new post be made sorry I am autistic and just need the bugs reported or seen so they can be fixed as soon as is possible.. The support website said to post here so dev's can see it.
In relation to Cyberpunks latest version. The cool Perk trees stops working at a random point and also after loading up the save. I have not recreated the random cool perk break yet. I realise when I cant crouch sprint or its that slow it doesn't feel like I am, and auto optical camo does not trigger, refunding and reacquiring the perks make them work again but its annoying to keep doing.
I also have all my iconic weapons lose their names. Now just generic 'sword' or 'knife'.
Further, NPC's are jumping into the roads instead of away from the roads, even when not driving too close to pavement and so killing npcs while driving when its not player caused is getting frustrating.
I never really have ever noticed bugs playing this game, but now I really am experiencing them. There is more but I keep forgetting and just wanted to at least share the main ones that are causing problems.

Hi,
You should be able to directly send a ticket to the support ("contact us" button at the bottom right of the page).

Hello everyone, I just logged in for feedback.
it would be nice to be able to lock items that I don’t want to lose. Or have a library where we can recover all the items we’ve already collected or discovered.
This already exists. You can save weapons that you don't want to lose.
The problem is that it doesn't always stay saved. Like if you put a weapon into your staff, frequently the 'heart' disappears.

Hi,
I finished the game Cyberpunk 2077 today, I played Phantom Liberty directly,
of all the genres of games I have played, this game is close to a masterpiece, I am surprised by the good music and sound effects in the game,
considering that I have completed all the missions, I was hoping for some end game map, at least to hunt cyber psychopaths again,
but I see that there is no respawn, so I am very sad,
I would really like in some future update to improve the map for players who have completed all the missions, after this game I can't play no other, the atmosphere is such that I feel myself really living in some futuristic mega city.

Suggestion: Pixel-Saver Screensaver in the Pause Menu

Hey everyone,

I’d like to suggest a feature that could help players using OLED or other screens prone to burn-in. It would be great if Cyberpunk 2077 had an option in the pause menu to activate a pixel-saving screensaver. This could work by dimming the brightness and introducing slight pixel movement to prevent static images from causing damage over time.

A screensaver designed in the game’s cyberpunk aesthetic would not only be functional but also immersive. What do you think? Would this be a useful addition?

Yes I really hope they do this for the sequel game Orion.
Really all modern AAA video game developers should do this. Most of us play these games on either expensive pc monitors or on huge expensive flatscreen tvs.

I actually find myself having to turn off the game or switch to my tv's built in screensaver, or occasionally have V spin around 360 degrees to change the pixels and avoid screen burn.

But yes I completely agree this is big on my wish list for future games. Too late to do this for cb77 being a 4 year old game.

Yes I love the sound design for this game. This game is designed to be played for several hours per sitting. And if the sounds were annoying or not enjoyable it would be a huge detriment to the game.
Now the sounds don't need to be gimicky sounds like you get playing slot machines in a casino (those are designed to keep you there gambling lol), but the sounds for this game imo are just right.

Examples:
the gun sounds are great. reloading, chambering a round (cocking the guns- they even have an HK Slap sound!), picking up items, upgrading cyberware, the sound it makes when you move inventory to and from stash, managing your Yellow Perks, buying attributes, brewing coffee. Basically all the little sounds that happen a lot, they made good sound design choices. Adds to the enjoyment, especially during a 10 hour play session hehe

Hey howdy!

Love this whole thing, rad. Just had an idea about Orion! Figured here would be as good a spot as any. Maybe the next game title will be something like "Cyberpunk 2.1k". Right at the turn of the century chooms! Cyberpunk 2100! Anyway!

Happy Slaying :7

Big frustration of not being able to recover the Erebus.
Indeed, by following the main scenario, it is possible to quickly access the content of Phantom Liberty by having a relatively low player level.
The problem is that then it is not possible to recover the objects of the Cynosure zone, notably the Erebus because the level of technical attribute required is just: the maximum! While we are made to open doors of the same zone with attributes of level 3!
So if at the beginning we have increased even a little the other attributes, we cannot have the prerequisite, and there is no other method of access provided, as is the case in many other missions, not even by going through the black market vendor at the Dogtown stadium. And it is impossible to return to the zone afterwards.
So don't do like me, don't access the DLC too early, you will lose 2 of the best iconic objects in the game.
It's distressing that the game allows many variations of play styles and that at the same time we are "punished" because we didn't choose the right one.
There is a strong replayability given the many possible endings, but there are not several possibilities to access and acquire all the iconic items in the game, it's just inconsistent.

This just a suggestion. Can we have an open to create a character not with the story line. It be like you are a random person gaining fame in night city and be come a leader or a gangster or corporate boss. Free from all rule other then pvp that be optional if you like ?
Thank you for hearing me.

Please create a thread about when The Witcher 3 will get native Apple Silicon Mac support, if this doesn’t already exist :)
