i was searching for an answer about why the witcher will not launch.
turns out there is a full forum for this game. well i think it is a good thing for the new players to have something like Q&A.
my problem however is that my game will not start cause of a missing file called ResampleDmo.dll
can anyone enlighten me wtf this is and how i can get it back?
just tried launching windows 7-8 and all kinds of stuff but after getting windows 11 i have lots of problems with game-launchers.
the dough is gone, as we say.
i really hate to be building another pc just to play as Geralt again.

Judging from a google search the file seems to be part of windows media pack.

Hello everyone, I have a very basic question on Cyberpunk 2077
I am 11 hours into the game and at level 11.
In my character chart, I don't have the weapon attributes "Handguns / Blades / Assault" as shown in some build guides. See pictures.
Also, I don't have "Athletics / Annihilation / Street Brawler" screen.
Am I too early in the game or I miss something?

Those pictures are not from the current version of the game, but a vastly outdated one. You'll want to find a newer guide.

Likely outdated build guides or at least, guides made on earlier versions than 2.0 and its big changes. So if you check some guides, any guide, be sure it's for 2.0 (or newer) version of the game, because they introduced a lot of changes and a lot of guides may be completely outdated.

Hello! Completely new here, and I can't seem to find an answer or another fix in other places online. So, for the PL DLC, I love to replay the "Firestarter" mission once in a while. Just something I do for the fun of it. I also only really like playing it with my original Streetkid V because she holds sentimental value for this specific mission for me. Issue is, ever since version 2.31 dropped, it no longer loads. Whenever I try to, it just straight-up crashes the entire game. I'm assuming it's due to the conflicting versions of the game since the original save was still in version 2.21. If there's any fixes to this, I would love to hear 'em out. If not, then thank you for trying.

In theory, you should be able to load any save created on an older version of the game.
So do you use mods or ever used mods?
If you did and removed them since, the "absence" of mods could create issues and crashes.
I don't use any mods at all. Never did. I try not to use them just to be safe for all my games, including Cyberpunk
But it's weird that you say it SHOULD be able to load any old save file. Now I really don't know what the real issue could be.

If there was a problem to load a save created on 2.21 on the new update (2.31), almost every players who played the game before will have encountered the same issue after updating their game. But it's not the case.
It's possible there is something wrong in your save or your save is somehow corrupted.
You just have one save? No other one even older?
Edit : You own the game on GOG, Steam or Epic?

I own the game on Steam. Okay, so I just loaded up a save file at 61 hours before the "Firestarter" save file, which is at 67 hours, and it loaded up just fine. I think it's just the "Firestarter" manual save that's corrupted or something.
It's okay, thank you for helping regardless. If you hadn't reminded me that I have other save files from before the mission, I wouldn't have had the idea to go back at all. So thank you for that. I think that's just what I'm going to do now, though. Play my 61-hour save file up to the "Firestarter" mission and then overwrite the corrupted file with the new one. I'll keep overwriting the "Firestarter" save file to keep up with the versions and stuff. Hopefully, it doesn't happen againOk, so yes there is something wrong in your save file

Everthing was fine,but when I closed to this place , there was a unknown mark.I am so confused and dont know what is that .Could anyboby give me a expian?Thanks a lot!(My English is not good, so maybe have some wrong)

I play on PC and Switch 2 and with the nudity filter off on PC it shows fully naked V in inventory but on Switch 2 it keeps the bottom underwear on. Is this intended or a bug? I have not found any clear information on this anywhere.

On PC, there is no censorship at all. But on consoles, it's possible there is cencorship, depending on the platform and the region. It's very possible the bottom underwear is always present in the Switch version and impossible to remove.
