🎉The Welcome Thread

Thanks! I apologize for not replying in time due to the time difference.
I really love the atmosphere here. I haven’t met the requirements to create a new thread yet, but I have a lot I want to share on this forum.

This forum has really broadened my understanding of Cyberpunk 2077. Some players’ perspectives are things I never would have thought of before, and there’s also information I wasn’t sure about until now. For example, one thread’s theory about Hands’ real identity left a deep impression on me. And the help from LeKill3rFou has been really useful to me.

In China, there’s a social app called Xiaoheihe (ć°é»‘ç›’). I often help new players who are just getting into 2077 there, or discuss the story and characters with other fans. I’m sure that due to cultural differences between China and the West, we may interpret some game content differently, but that also gives us a chance to appreciate the game from new angles.
So whenever I have thoughts, I’ll be happy to share them on both platforms.

Hello everyone.
I’ve just registered here because I wanted to share a small but thoughtful piece of feedback. But this time not just casually with friends or on random platforms, but specifically within the official CD Projekt community.

I noticed that I currently cannot create a new thread yet, and at the same time I couldn’t find an existing topic that would really fit what I want to discuss. I don’t feel comfortable posting random messages in unrelated threads just to reach the required post count - that doesn’t seem like good forum etiquette. The forum banner mentions that moderators here can help with this, so I wanted to ask: I have prepared a +- structured post that is both feedback from a long-time fan of the series (since The Witcher that got randomly in 2008 and after got all books and waited for second game) and a small suggestion for one specific aspect of the games (bestiary look and it's relation to player experience, small detail that both make it more deeply connected with experienced witcher, widely represent designers work and add more "exploration" to it).

What would be the best way for me to proceed? Would it be possible for a moderator to help create the appropriate thread (I have text, just need to prepare some screenshots for better presentation), or should I wait until I unlock posting access? Thank you in advance.

Yes, it would. You can post what would be the thread's opening post here in this thread, and we'll move it to a new thread. Include your desired title in the post.

You are absolutely correct in that it isn't, and thank you for feeling that way!

Hello, @FANt0M , and welcome to the forums!

We have a slew of discussions about the older games. You can check the Community, General, and Gameplay sections for those. My guess is you'll find a thread that you can add these thoughts to.

For the suggestion, we have a dedicated Suggestions board. Go ahead and post that here, and ping any of the moderation team when it's written. We'll move it.

Yes, it would. You can post what would be...

"Dear CD Projekt Red Team,

I am writing to you because I recently finished Phantom Liberty and I am still deeply moved by the story. I wanted to tell you how much I love the character of Songbird (So Mi).

In my playthrough, I chose to trust her and helped her get to the moon. Her journey and her complexity as a character really touched me. Because she means so much to me, I have to ask: Is there any chance we will see her again in the future or in the next Cyberpunk game (Project Orion)?

Thank you for creating such an incredible character and such an emotional experience. I can’t wait to see what’s next for the Cyberpunk universe!

Best regards,

Mable

Hi! I'm from Poland and I'm writing an essay in uni for my bachelor's about easter eggs in all the witcher games that are only understood by polish people. Any easter egg that has something to do with our music, literature, political situations I'm writing down. I have played through all three of the games, written down anything I noticed or have seen online on the topic.

But I need help!! I'm actually writing about how those references were translated to english, did they change them to easter eggs understood by english speakers or did they just translate polish jokes without explaining them. I have one left translation from the witcher 2 that I just cannot find anywhere online and I really don't feel like playing through the whole chapter two just to find it...

You see, in Vergen you can hear elves sing polish war songs: ,,Dziƛ do Ciebie przyjƛć nie mogę„, ,,Po ten kwiat czerwony” and

“Nie noszą lampasów, lecz leƛny ich strój
Wiewiórcze kity miast zƂota
Za wolnoƛć i rasę dziƛ ciągnie na bój
Piechota, Iorwetha piechota. “ (an edited version of "Szara piechota", it's about elves and iorweth instead lol)

Because these aren't things you can find during a specific quest or by speaking to a specific npc I'm having trouble finding it online. They are things random npcs can say I think when you click on them or maybe just by passing by them. I have trouble finding a clip of that situation anywhere online so I was thinking maybe someone here has seen it happen and maybe has a screenshot of it so that I can write the exact translation down? Maybe someone has a save file and could just go back and take a screenshot for me... I'll be grateful for any help.

Hi from another place in Poland! Unfortunately, I don’t have a save, but I wanted to say this sounds like a lovely dissertation! If you plan on doing any questionnaires for Witcher gamers to gather data on player reactions or something along those lines, feel free to send me a message - I work at a uni and can always ask my students to fill them out :)

Hello, I am new users here wanted to share one of my idea's for the upcoming game The Witcher 4(Gameplay):
[Gameplay Idea] Dynamic Monster Dismemberment:

I love witcher 3 for it's story and gameplay, the thing which grealty pulled me into the game is the monster hunting, witcher contracts. When facing human enemies in game, while giving a final death blow for them, sometimes the limbs, heads or body gets dismembered. what I thought was to bring this idea into the monsters as well.

Instead of monsters just being "meat sacks" where they look and act 100% fine until their health bar suddenly hits zero, what if attacking specific body parts caused mid-fight dismemberment that fundamentally alters their moveset and AI behavior while they are still alive.

Hello,

I'd like to report a bug and suggest a hot fix that could be easily implemented in Gwent. Most seasonal quests are bugged, since I don't progress them while performing the relevant actions (play skellige cards from The Way of The Witcher card sets, play cards with 'spawn' keyword from the same set, etc.).

Can we please, for the love of God, at least get to reroll those quests for free and as much as we'd like ? It should be pretty easy to implement, since I know there is no way the developers go back and try to fix the main issue.

This is really annoying, because the seasonal card back is still obtainable and looks super good. Alternatively, just make the daily quests count towards the seasonal rewards as 1 level per quest completed.

Gwent still has a fairly sized community and I think this bug at least deserves a fix.

Thank you for your attention.

Hello first time posting here! Basically I was worried that the game would not be playable on the Steam Deck with the new requirements.

The game is hugely popular among those that play on the handheld, and we feel like we can `Take The Path` with us wherever we go. So it would be a shame if we need to move the installation to a new system once the new expansion rolls out.

Given the stellar support that all Witcher games and Cyberpunk 2077 have continued to receive on the Steam Deck, is there a plan to maintain compatibility with the Steam Deck?

Thanks again to the devs and mods who maintain these forums!

Hello, I'm an egyptian gamer who is really interested in the amazing game that is CyberPunk2077 But since the average monthly wage in my country is $140, it would cost more than a third of our monthly salary to buy the game ( Costs $44.99, even more with the DLC )
I am asking that you reconsider the pricing for the MENA-USD region and set it to the recommended steam price. As a result, A lot of people will finally have the chance to play the game and support the developers.

There are a lot of passionate gamers in Egypt, But sadly they resort to pirating games because they can't afford to buy their favourite games without risking their livelihood. A change like this would completely change this.

Regards.

Hello CDPR team

Are there any plans to add full Metal 4 support to the macOS version of Cyberpunk 2077?

Earlier articles and discussions mentioned future Metal 4 related updates for the Mac version, with proper Denoiser and Frame Interpolation, for example. But we haven’t seen any official confirmation recently. It would be great to know whether this is still planned or currently being explored.

Thanks!

Hi moderators,

I'm a new user, so I can't create a new thread yet. I'd like to discuss a very specific memory about an early launch version of The Witcher 3, regarding the "Carnal Sins" quest. I have a mystery that's been on my mind for nearly 10 years, and I want to ask the community if anyone else remembers the scene the same way I do.

Could you please help create a new topic for this in the Story & Lore section? I have a bilingual post (English + Chinese) ready to share. Thank you very much!

Hello, I am writing through a translator and would like to inform you that the project ""Arizona Roleplay" violates the copyright of Cyberpunk, The Witcher, etc., namely vehicles and cosmetic changes with skins. I would like you to take action against them.

Just joined because I realized I was woefully unnformed. My wife and I got the PS4 version, and after we got the PS5 I didn't think anything about it. I started a new playthrough and have been enjoying my Corpo V, but checking something in a video I saw my interface looked extremely different. Come to find out, I'll need to purchase the PS5 version to get patch 2.0. Will I need to restart my playthrough? If so, I'm going to feel very stupid that I wasted a lot of upgrade components upgrading clothing items to get better armor...
