Just joined because I realized I was woefully unnformed. My wife and I got the PS4 version, and after we got the PS5 I didn't think anything about it. I started a new playthrough and have been enjoying my Corpo V, but checking something in a video I saw my interface looked extremely different. Come to find out, I'll need to purchase the PS5 version to get patch 2.0. Will I need to restart my playthrough? If so, I'm going to feel very stupid that I wasted a lot of upgrade components upgrading clothing items to get better armor...
No you won't loose your progression ;)

Hello c:
First time posting here cause i'm replaying Witcher 3 for the umpteenth time and i think i noticed a clever Resident Evil homage in the quest La Cage au Fou.

Hey everyone,
I am Mario (Draakje)
From De Kooi, Leiden, Netherlands. (53):d isgoedkeuring:

Here is the ultimate proof that "You are never too old to start gaming."

Yeah, tripping over the E or the C being on vacation again. Then you think "I need to take a puff" while you're already calling your car the whole time.
But I am convinced that you guys experience this too.
What I play is Virtual Rides 3, City Builder 1 and 2, and of course Cyberpunk 2077, and believe me, it makes me feel young again!!

For my work, I always cooked as a chef. But due to an accident involving the doctor, that came to an end too. He sprayed Star Wars into my eye with a laser.
Now don't lie Draakje, Corona put an end to my profession.
And the doctor made me blind in one eye and I'm not allowed to work anymore.
And wouldn't you know it, I arrive at Victor's and they're sold out hahahahaha

But let's keep it cheerful.:schouderophalen:
I also trained as an AutoCAD drafter and obtained the basics.
And I do a lot with 3D design. This means I am currently learning to use Unreal Engine and Blender.
I love it.

So yeah, way too much time and way too much to do.
This is me and what keeps me busy.

Checking out!

Hello Everyone,

I am new here and I have just started my first play through of Cyberpunk 2077 (PS5).

(WITHOUT SPOILERS) Is there anything that you kind folks would recommend I do / don't do to really emerse myself into NC.

I am about 6 hrs in and just got to the point you can start to explore after the initial main story missions calm down a bit.

Hi, welcome ;)
Honestly, I doubt there is any "better way" to play the game nor anything to do to enjoy it more. I suggest to simply enjoy the ride and let yourself go by the mood in which you are.
One tip, because I saw many people "forgetting" this > It's Cyberpunk, cyberwares are important, so go visit your fav ripperdoc time to time.

Thanks, that's my broad plan. I will need to update my profile with my V soon.

Hardest thing at the moment is keeping track of who's who in the game. I hear a name, and not sure if that a location, corporation or a person - I'll get there.

Hi chooms,

Been into cyberpunk things since first playing Shadowrun in the mid-90s, and a fulltime 2077 nerd ever since I bought the game (and a PS5 along with it) in 2021.

I’m on my third playthrough currently, and really into world-exploring and playing “realistic”. Nice meeting you all!

Hello,
I am new here. I just finished my first playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077. It is a really well done game. My only gripe with the games is the endings. It feels unfinished and I hate that V gets no happy ending. This makes it hard to want to play the game again. I want to but I felt heartbroken for V so I am struggling to do so.

I have played the Witcher 3 but haven't finished it. I read all the books and love the story line.
I cannot wait to see what else this company creates.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

But as soon as we started i had to crank my headphones up..... Why the hell isnt this a side gig or repeatable side quest you can do again?!! After it was over i wanted more! And not so short, id love to play the whole song or even choose which song to play! Im begging you please if you add more dlc or expansions make a repeatable side quest where you can text Nancy and she will set up another gig at one of the many other clubs in the game. Please 👃

Hi everyone! After finishing The Witcher 3, I’ve been thinking a lot about how CDPR could have handled the franchise's future. While I’m excited for Ciri, it feels like a waste of Geralt’s long mutant lifespan. I came up with two distinct game pitches that solve the mechanical "level 1 reset" problem while offering incredible narrative twists. I'd love to hear your thoughts on these!

Pitch for Future The Witcher Games: Two Creative Concepts to Expand the Franchise..

Hello community and dev team! As a huge fan of The Witcher 3, I’ve been thinking about how the franchise could expand without losing its essence, solving the typical "level 1 reset" issue, and respecting the lore while offering something completely fresh. Here are two concept pitches for future entries:

CONCEPT 1: The Dark Multiverse & Dimensional Fracture
The Core Idea: Instead of a traditional sequel, Geralt is accidentally pulled into an alternate reality through the cosmic fractures caused by Ciri’s Elder Blood. In this dystopian world, the Ciri of this universe has been completely corrupted by dark magic and has already assassinated her timeline's Geralt.
  • The Ultimate Antagonists: A dark, ruthless version of Yennefer and a corrupted Ciri act as the main villains. Geralt’s biggest conflict isn't just surviving, but the emotional trauma of fighting the two people he loves most, seeking a way to redeem them or stop them.
  • An Unlikely Alliance: To survive and navigate this hostile world, Geralt must forge a tense, dangerous alliance with an alternate version of the Elven leader of the Wild Hunt.
  • The Narrative Level Reset: Upon entering this world, Geralt’s traditional Witcher Signs (Igni, Quen, etc.) are sealed by dark magic crystals scattered across the map. He starts at "Level 1" not because of a gameplay whim, but because he must adapt to new universal laws.
  • New Hyrbid Gameplay Mechanics: Geralt must learn entirely new skill trees: Nature/Druidic Magic (root manipulation, earth barriers, life-leeching) and Light/Spectral Magic (imbued blade attacks to pierce dark shields).
  • Progression Loop: As the player destroys the dark crystals guarding each region, Geralt gradually unblocks his traditional Witcher Signs. By the late game, players can execute devastating Hybrid Combos (e.g., combining Igni with Nature magic to create a blazing thorn vortex).

CONCEPT 2: The Golden Age of Kaer Morhen (GTA V & RDR2 Style)
The Core Idea: A massive prequel set decades before the events of The Witcher 1. It explores the era when monsters plagued the Continent, and Witchers were at the peak of their numbers and renown.
  • Dual-Protagonist System (GTA V Style): Players can swap in real-time between two distinct characters, each with their own playstyle, missions, and progression arcs:
    1. Vesemir in his Prime: A strict, highly experienced, legendary Witcher at his absolute physical peak. His gameplay focuses on mastery, elite combat tactics, and managing the School of the Wolf.
    2. Young Geralt: A reckless, newly mutated novice who just survived the Trial of the Grasses. His gameplay focuses on learning the ropes, making rookie mistakes, and relying on Vesemir to bail him out.
  • The Narrative Structure (RDR2 Style): The game focuses heavily on the deep, emotional father-and-son dynamic between Vesemir and Geralt. The overarching plot would build up to a tragic, cinematic climax: the historical assault on Kaer Morhen, where religious fanatics and mages massacred most of the Witchers.
  • Accessibility: This game would be the ultimate entry point for new fans who only played The Witcher 3, giving them an unmissable look into the origins of the White Wolf without needing complex political background knowledge of the current timelines.

@Riven-Twain @Lilayah Hi! Since my account is new, I was told to post my game suggestions here in the Welcome Thread. Could you kindly move this post into a new independent topic under the The Witcher suggestions section so the community can discuss it? Thank you so much for your help

@Siglifey Hi! I have a fan concept for The Witcher 4 called “Redemption of the Viper”. I would like to post it as a separate thread in the Witcher section. I also have another part of the story about Berengar’s return and his journey in Ofir. Would it be possible to make the Berengar part a separate post/thread as well, so people can discuss it separately? Thank you!

Hi!! I wonder if there's any method to install the REDmod manually on my PC? I got the game from my steam family sharing, but it seems that this doesn't enable me to download any free DLCs...

Hi,
What's the issue exactly? Redmod doesn't appear?
You can try to download a mod compatible with Redmod (on Nexus for example) and place this mod in the mod folder of the game. In theory, once the launcher is detecting there is a "Redmod mod" in the folder, Redmod will be available.

Hey, I'm Hazu, I live in Hong Kong. I have all CD Projekt Red games, I love them all, especially The Witcher 3, I have everything about the Witcher, merch, action figures, t-shirts, posters, OST, etc. People here even know me by "the Witcher guy" lol I also like cyberpunk 2077, but Geralt is my guy. I can't wait to play the new dlc/expansion.

PS: something weird is happening on the official X account of The Witcher, maybe the person in charge used auto-mass-block and blocked a bunch of users, including me. Tbh kinda disappointed ngl. But at least I found this forum lol

Cheers

"Hello, I have lost the DLC 'Phantom Liberty'. I bought it a long time ago and played through it. I have the bonuses from the purchase, but when I decided to play again now, it's gone. The bonuses are still there, but the DLC has disappeared."
