Hi

I have a bug with steam link and Cyberpunk, but I can't create a thread.

Essentially, the screen on my TV stays black while on my computer works.

I believe this is because of the current version 1.0.6 or some steamlink update.

Can any mod create a thread for me or post a bug for me?

The issue is the same as in this thread, https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam_Link/comments/konwjw , but I can't use moonlight because I don't have a Nvidia GPU.

forward to death bug
using PS5 i clear all guards but one. he is BELOW THE CONCRETE and ground and i can not get to him. if i get close enough he can shoot me, but i cant shoot back as he is INSIDE the ground below me 10 meters. he just keeps yelling "someone end him, thats an order" and will occasionally shoot at me. i have tried to get behind the wall and fall down through the ground (glitching" but cant get close enough to him to shoot him. grenades, cannons, guns....nothing works.

anyone have any ideas? really dont wanna try this again as it almost crashed my system 2 times just getting where im at now

A wish list for cyber Master Mirror!

Hi, so i wanted to add some feedback on Cyberpunk 2077, on what additions can be potentially added, changes be made that are feasible, unlike things like the cut content which some may or may not return in the future, who knows...but in the meanwhile if anyone has any suggestions make them in bullet point form with a short explanation :) bound to be an intriguing wish list!
Besides some of the most requested features like: Ability to change appearance once in game, transmog, modifying/color change to vehicles, driving overall, changes to A.I. in general, Cops/wanted system etc.
Thought i could add some suggestions (not in order) some which were commonly made as mods for The Witcher 3, thought they might be useful and add to immersion, such as:
- Economy System (changing prices overall, buying or selling prices based on rarity for items/components, don't want to buy a 10k pistol then sell it for 100ish bucks!)
- Classified Vendors (rather than every ripperdoc/weapons dealer/clothing vendor having some legendary items and some basic ones, it would be nice if they were systemic, selling items only at the selected level, for example...All vendors in Watson as a starting area will sell only up to uncommon items, then we could have a legendary clothing vendor in City Center! While City Center at the same time having a weapons dealer at only rare items, Pacifica having a legendary netrunner with a uncommon clothing vendor, Heywood having a legendary weapons dealer and so on.)
- Map Overlay and Hierarchy (different icon/color for main missions, for secondary "loyalty" missions like Panam, Judy etc., for certain mission branches like "Cyberpsycho's" or "Delamain", easy access on the map rather than hovering on every yellow icon to read description.)
- Weapon Color Schemes (there should be an option for when we craft weapons to choose their skin! There are many weapons despite level that are generated randomly having a gold finish, matte black, or neon colors etc. It would be cool if we could select which skin we want when crafting.)
- Window Shopping (ability to view clothes before buying them.)
- Level Cap (just remove it, we'll all be happier for it :))
- A Formal Introduction (it would make more sense if we needed to meet a fixer for the specific district at first, then our side jobs and gigs would be given for that territory, they could recite the same thing as in our video call just now, u know, in person...trying somehow to make them more useful :shrug:)
- A Proper Workbench (crafting should be done in your apartment in the stash room...change my mind!)
- Custom Radio Station (can you blame me for wanting some Kavinsky!)
- Walkman (we can see and talk with people in our heads, but we can't put some classical music on while we're sneaking around a penthouse to steal a datashard! It would be kool to have our radio station overlap any ambient or combat music while we are doing our thing, just saying.)
- Custom Keybindings PC (kinda tired of fiddling around files and writing code just so i can change an unchangeable keybinding or add one for a "Walking" option and not just jog nonstop which is silly, thus improvements were made even in TW3 with the Alternative Movement, we need that here.)
And for some of the big boys which i don't know if they will ever be added but wishful thinking: 3rd person perspective gameplay and cutscenes. Custom animations for eating, drinking, changing body parts. Actual changing body parts, can become Adam Smasher if we want, stuff like that.
 
Hi everyone, I just finished a second run of the game, and I was wondering something; but do you think in future dlc they will implement new main stories maybe even with new characters in addition to V?
 
New posting here but not new to CDPR in general. Loving CP 2077 so far but I do have two criticisms.

First Criticism: The origin stories are fairly shallow and don't reveal much into V and how V got to the point in the story where you meet Jackie Wells and literally head directly into Night City (with the exception of choosing Street Kid as you're already in Night City). There is lore surrounding why you are where you are, but it doesn't do anything to lead you to caring about why you were where you where. You spend a brief amount of time with Jackie during this time (even shorter if you choose Street Kid or Corpo) and then the rest plays out as a montage (really lazy).

The end result is you don't care about why you are who you are. The origin story feels like an excuse to use specific Corpo, Street Kid, or Nomad terms and nothing else. Corpo was probably the most immersive as you are approached by employees who have problems or reports or whatever else, but these moments are brief and generally don't even need you to do anything that makes you feel like you're running in a corporate world. Nomad path is probably the worst as you literally jump from tearing off your patch and literally going right into Night City. So much potential lost for exploring who the different Nomad groups are, how they live, why stay outside of Night City, etc. In the end it feels like the starter origin stories were complete after-thoughts.

Speaking of after-thought, it also feels like Jackie Wells was an after thought as the entire relationship with Jackie spans out over a montage of what you did in Night City. It feels empty, meaningless and just a way to cut content out of a game that we should have been experiencing first hand.

In general, I feel like the origin stories should of been much longer of an experience and much more meaningful, especially your time with Jackie. If you want players to feel for a character (or his mother), make the player spend time with them instead of playing a highlight reel and then later in the game going, "Hey 'member when we did all that stuff? Yea...I 'member".

Second Criticism:
First person view is great for shooters like this, but it would have been nice to implement a third person view while roaming around Night City (aside from driving a car or riding a motorcycle) considering the amount of fashion options there are in this game. The option for nudity is also weird to include as it doesn't reflect in the gameplay at all (so far anyways).
 
Hey! I'm not one to usually post on forums but I'm having quite the issue with my game. I reached the mission where the game prompts you that it is a "point if no return." Wanting to play more, I left the area to do other side missions only to find my character is now invincible.

I literally take no damge from any source. No fall damage, enemies cant hurt me, cant hurt myself with grenades, nothing. I still get the red and blue edges around your pov when enemies shoot at me, but they do no damage.

I tried reloading older saves, but the only one not effected by this bug is from 6 hours prior. I've validated my steam files, reinstalled the game, and even downloaded a mod that unlocks the console commands. (The godmode command hasn't been found yet though, so it wasnt much help). Sadly none of these helped at all.

I searched all over for a fix, but no one seems to be having the same issue as me. I decided to just finish the game out in frustration, knowing the end had to be close.

!!SPOILERS AHEAD!! I went and talked to Hanako, then had the powwow with Johnny on the roof, and ultimately decided to ask Panam for help with getting into Arasaka.

This choice leads you to becoming an Aldacaldo, getting a snazzy jacket that only covers your arms, and raiding a construction sight that's connected to Arasaka.

This construction sight would be the first combat sequence you encounter since initially meeting with Hanako, and to my surprise, the enemies are damaging me!

My game had returned to normal for the final act! I was taking and dealing damage normally as we raided Arasaka, defeated Adam Smasher, and ultimately ended the game.

Sadly when I reloaded the save to right before the final act, I was back to being an unkillable punk.

So, does anyone have any idea how to stop this bug from occurring? Any insight for how to fix this, or why it was fixed so suddenly when entering the final act of the game, would be appreciated.

TLDR: I'm not taking any damage at all, from any source. Starting the final act of the game resolves the issue, but reloading the old save after the game is beaten returns me to my unkillable form.
 
Hello all! I fell into here after going through everything that works in Cyberpunk 2077 world. After spending a little too long trying to make the 8ug8ear and "Killing in the Name" gigs/sidequests activate, its sad to say they do not work--its all lost in the scanning.

Its one if not the most ambitious videogame released, and one of the most immersive worlds and stories, but this same ambition makes it one of the most disappointing. I could go into detail of all the little quips with the game, but these few really put the nail in the coffin.

--If style is as important as "gear stats"--where is the "style gauge" within the game? Like if I've got an Edgerunner jacket and all punked out--where's the punked-out buff?!

--From each ending (The Devil, The Star, Temperance), I received the same gift--a gift out of my skills range, and its something I already had xD--which I can't improve since the cap is 50 (WISH: at the cap, one could choose to trade x amount of perk points for another skill point so they might enjoy all the cyberware, or at least pay 2000000 for skill reset, not just perk points, ahhhhhh!).

The message instead is "Here's three of the same thing you can never use (there's no point in having three or any anyway, you can't sell them to buy all the cars or whatever), try again--or, what does it matter--there's naught else left to do."
I now have 4 legendary cyberware items that are literally digital trash--and unrelated to a level 20 intellect build--not that there's anything to do with them anyway in the world.
So the pinnacle reward(s) of the game storyline is a bug*3.

--cannot sell cyberware--hmm--but you can find it anywhere and use used cyberware...

--At criminal activity point--the weapon loot at the yellow exclamation-point is always a $15 trash weapon. Its annoying to have to constantly avoid it, especially since it is supposed to be a prize to clearing the criminal activity.

--On that note, in the Witcher 3, one can usually go out and find monsters to fight--here its an empty city, and the fights are very hard to find after completion, making the whole effort of finding gangers to shoot too tedious to enjoy, and so the game is NULL not long after completion--while it would be a lot of fun going around enjoying the hard work you put in (180 hours)

--Crafting is broken and not worth the tremendous effort---level 16 for usefulness--and by that time one can find a legendary weapon on the street that outperforms any of the crafted weapons.

--Bloodpump just didn't work at all for me I don't think (from common to legendary)

--Some missions don't work--which, doesn't really happen often major releases like this. Its really awful spending hours trying to fix something that cannot be fixed in game.

Anyway, some of these, at least like finishing the quests in my first playthrough, would be nice, but it would honestly take another few years if ever for fixes.

Dear CDPR,

I'm writing you because I still haven't received my Collectors Edition of Cyberpunk 2077. I'm from Belgium and I pre-ordered it with your local partner FNAC, because all the units assigned to Game Mania were already sold out.

I had hoped to receive my collectors edition on December 8th. As I know physical pre-orders usually go out to retailers in time so they can forward the units to the designated buyers.

We're now almost a month later, my order is still not processed. I have contacted their support desk five times already and we're no where near me getting the game I ordered in 2019.

I'm absolutely gutted. Everyone I know is enjoying your game and I would love to enjoy it too as I've enjoyed The witcher 2 and 3.

I don't know what to do, I just can't bring myself in buying it a second time since I already paid €200 for the collectors edition. I just would like to ask you to save your Belgian fans the herculean adventure I'm having to endure in the future and never again work with FNAC for Collector editions. Please assign more units to well reputed partners as Game Mania in Belgium.

I'm unable to submit a query to support to get a ticket. I'm trying to submit a ticket because I cant complete epistrophy side quest. But whenever I try to submit a support query, when I click submit, I see a 'please wait' circle going around for a while, and then it disappears and nothing happens. I cant create a forum thread about this because i am a new user. I have tried to turn off adblocker, I'm not sure if there are other steps i can take.

I meant to write: because that often isn't, what they need to hear.

It's awfully long post so some context: I was very happy with the game, but it feels like there is lot of discussion about game that I don't know if that existed to begin with. I think topic was locked for a reason and that may itself sort of support what I tried to say. I think moderation is doing all they can with what they have and maybe it would be time to think for new policies and get senior staff involved. Forum feedback can helpful for enhancing features, etc. but it all starts from working with what we have, not what... I don't know, that something whatever that appears to be a moving target and that just doesn't enable anything but just that. How to find some sort of cornerstone to set paths to discussion about product we got.

Dear developers, you make it hard to ask something. On Steam forum you ignore topics and here I have to have 10 posts to create thread.

Quickload for stealth players
I play this game as stealth game. I have completed dozens of gigs, hustles and side missions as invisible force, no one noticed me and I have take out everyone. But this style of playing is very time consuming and it requires lots of tries and fails. For stealth game is Quickload absolutely necessary. For every failed attempt to go to menu, or wait till enemies kills you - it is very frustrating and boring.
Please let us know if you plan in some future fix to add quickload (for latest quicksave, no autosave as same game very wrongly do) or if it useless to try to play this game as stealth game.
