Hey i'm not much of a poster so not sure how to raise change requests in Gwent?
Any ideas anyone? I've never used discord of anything like that. There used to be a thread on here the developers read but it''s gone now.
Anyway, I just want to request that they allow all cards to be transmuted as there as still ones like Geralt and Ozrell and a handful more that you just can't transmute and are basically impossible to get in kegs with the amount of cards there are now.

In general, that Suggestions forum is where ideas and suggestions go, but as a fresh user with less than 10 posts you wouldn't be able to create a thread there.
We could, however, move a post to create a new thread for you -- but in this case, since an identical thread exists, it's not necessary.
 
Hello all!

I've been playing CDPR's games since the first Witcher game nearly 10 years ago, and I've always enjoyed the worlds and games they've built. I was definitely a little bit distraught after hearing how cyberpunk was received on release, but I just got my PC back around the start of this month so I'm finally getting to play it.

I sorta joined the forums mainly to get this idea out there. I've been playing cyberpunk for close to 100 hrs now, and I've got two improvement ideas for the game. Everything else so far has been pretty fun; I'm currently playing on patch 1.23 on a nividia RTX 2060. I think the side quests and gigs are missing a really important dynamic. Sure you're building street cred, but all the gangoons you face don't act any differently around you if you kill them all or go for a non-lethal option. All these factions, but no reputation stats among any of them detracts from the authenticity of the world. I think if a respected or vilified system was implemented like in fallout NV; side quests would be 10X more enjoyable than they are right now. Because at the moment alot of them are just busy work.

My other suggestion is the driving mechanics need more work. I'm using mouse and keyboard, and the first issue I'm seeing with both bikes and cars (especially cars) is the clunkiness of just moving around. Movement and acceleration should not be tied/bound to the same key. I don't even see why the keybindings are so limited for vehicle controls in the first-place. It should be easy enough to implement the shift key as your acceleration button while in conjunction with W (or whatever key that is bound for forward motion). When you reach a comfortable speed release the shift key and you stay locked at the speed you're going until you release W. W on it's own will only reach like 5mph or 15 depending on the type of vehicle before you need to accelerate. I would also recommend incorporating this in with backing up as I've been in the Caliburn and before I know it the damn car has rocketed backwards into barriers, houses, civilians, etc. lol unless this is Vs moto "pedal to the metal" I really think it would help with being able to take in more of the amazing city that the team built.

Moving on from acceleration control, the different camera perspectives aren't necessarily an issue, but I feel like when I'm trying to drive a car I'm always going into 3rd person, and on the bike it's the opposite. Spatial awareness in 1st person in the car is really bad, and it gets worse depending on what vehicle it is. I'm not sure if there's a way to change the line of sight for the player or include side mirrors, but it's hard to stay on the actual road half the time. The interiors on the cars are really cool, but right now they're not very functional also sun glare is ridiculous at certain points and with some cars more than others. At some points I literally have to stop and pull over because I can't see anything.

For bikes, if everything else is considered, using the camera for steering and not the left/right or A/D is more realistic. You use your eyes and body to steer more than just turning the handle-bars to go left or right. Right now everything is so rough and the movements are typically too jerky to maintain control this goes for bikes and cars. But these are about all the things that are bothering me with gameplay/immersion. I hope these suggestions will help. If anyone else thinks these are good ideas, or if I'm just crazy I'd love to chat about it either way! :)

tldr; introduce faction reputation, fix vehicle steering, and create acceleration solution.

Working As Intended question concerning Arnaghad.

I just played against a player using him. While he (Arnaghad) would damage (destroyed actually) cards I played he seems to remain undamaged. In the case of this match the player boosted him by two armor On or the turn turn after deployment so he remained at 7 strength/4 armor throughout his time on the board.

Has this happened to others who have played against this card?

Is Arnaghad working as intended?

Arnaghad was placed next to Sukrus, whose ability prevents the card left of him (in this case Arnaghad) from taking any damage.

I have a question regarding CD projekt job position of junior/specialist quest designer right below:


My questions are: Is that position still open for new applicants? The answer might be obvious since is still there, but this position has been open for around 2 years so I am doubtful about it. (perhaps is too hard to find people willing to relocate? Or the site is just not up to date).

Also, the qualifications seems quite open for people who are just enthusiastic modders and good with stories. Is there any requirement of professional experience that are not highlighted?

The reason why I am asking is because I am interested in that position since I would like to work on designing quests and live in Poland. I made a plan of working with red kit and create a portfolio out of it so I could apply for this position.

However, I don't have any kind of professional experience related to that, so maybe my chances are slim to null? I still wonder.

Which is weird because I have been a pretty regular poster and haven't broken any rules as far as I can tell.
 
My Witcher 3 refuses to load after the first cutscene on PC. I have mods but none of them are conflicting and nothing I've looked at has helped.

The mods may not be conflicting but they can still be causing the issue. I would remove all traces of them and try a fresh save to see if the issue persists.

Also run "verify/repair" if on GOG or "verify integrity of the game cache" if on Steam.
 
Hi, I am seeing some weird and inconsistent behavior from the card YENNEFER'S INVOCATION in gwent mobile.

I have has this card used on my tall cards a number of times now and sometimes the card loses all of it's buffs when they play it later and sometimes it retains them. Just had a slyzard card buffed up over 20 in a deathwish deck and had it played in the following round with it retaining it's 20 strength. Yet a few matches before that the buffs were wiped in a similar situation.

This should not be possible, and I've never heard of such a bug before so I doubt there is one. Invo resets the power of the card it steals, always. Something else must have buffed the Slyzard.
