The Wild Hunt Eredin + Bronze Tier Guides

Hello, i've started playing Gwent 10 days ago and i really enjoy it, been playing mainly the wild hunt deck and when i checked youtube for guides in day 1 or 2 i didn't find card by card explanations.. so considering the game is pretty complex and it can be overwhelming i've decided to make some 5 to 10 minutes guides that explain the cards, the synergy and the way to maybe counter them, so even if its not your faction you could watch them if you are new and want to know how to beat them. I'll link the guides for each below:

1. Hound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Xcgq9NcKd8

2. Rider: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0zsVqisu8E

3. Warrior: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sNKk3AnBHU

4. Drakkar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5v6bk4-Y1A

6: Eredin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ge8XvIr_m7g

Welcome to Gwent, kytres ! I've moved your topic to Tactician's Corner, where players may discuss different decks and strategies.

We need more Wild Hunt Players :p first of all, welcome to Gwent :)

You will find that Wild Hunt has lost much of its appeal in the higher tiers these days, because it's mostly a control deck. Control is fine against Engines but not that good against tempo, which is what this meta is all about. From my personal experience my strictly WH deck performs worse than Reveal which is already regarded as one of the weakest archetypes. But it's still fun when it works :) Also the reason for that might be that I went for ALL WH characters, including Nithral and Imlerith which are not so good.

Caranthir is a must though, if you are playing Wild Hunt craft him as soon as possible. Oh, and Ge'els which fits in just about every monster deck, not just WH ;)

Hi Kytres, and welcome!

I've played a lot of Eredin (secondary only to Francesca) and have been using a Wild Hunt variant for a fair old while that has changed little, except to tech in certain cards Vs whatever is popular. It does reasonably well, even if it can't be considered a "top tier" deck, but with the new patch incoming it should do better.

Send me a message and I'll get you the list and give you some tips on how to pilot it.

(I'm not amazing, but I consider myself a competent player. Usually get to Rank 19 / 20 most seasons)

I'll make more guides for the ogroids that go with frost. The whole Wild Hunt deck is better if you play it with Ciri: Nova.
