"Q1" means the first quarter of the year, so that's January, February, or March. Of course, we all want it in January, but since they announced it in March, I actually expect it in March (this is just me speculating, not anything official). And there may be some slippage in the date, anyway; there so often is, with large software projects. If they push it back to Q2, that will mean the second quarter of the year, namely April, May, or June.Serious gamers are so obsessed with our favorite games that we actually learn a little bit of marketing terminology. Sure proof that we're crazy. :)

Lol...easy Kalfear. You and I have just recently beat this game, I can't imagine what those who played it way back in 2007 are going through.

Now I do have a question about "The Premium edition" and The Collectors Edition" Now does The Collectors Edition come with both the "Merchant Pack" which comes with the premium edition as well as for the Jacket that is available for the collectors edition? After all with "The Collectors Edition" being almsot 3 times as much I think that it should. After all I'm not interested in the paper things that you put together or the stickers them are for little kids. I'm more interested in the DLC. Thanks.

No need to ask the same question in 3 different threads. I think 1 DLC per edition dependent on your location and retailer check the link http://buy.thewitcher.com/

The CE DLC is part of what CDPR is selling with that edition of the game. I can't imagine that they'd remove the retailer-DLC from a buyer, just because the edition they're buying contains separate DLC. One of the reasons to buy the CE in the first place is because it offers DLC; it wouldn't make sense for CDPR to undercut that by taking away either the special CE-only DLC or the special retailer-only DLC. Plus, I imagine that the two types of DLC will come from two different places. The retailer will give you the retailer DLC (probably a code that enables you to download it, rather than the file itself), whereas the CE edition DLC will come from CDPR and will probably be either an extra file on the disk or a code that enables you do download the file.

Yeah i preordered my hard copy from Gamestop and received the secret merchant but i could have ordered from Amazon and received the swordsman jacket and it`s a code that you enter from either one of these retailers to download a file more than likely from CDPR

Sorry about the multiple posts I didn't realize at the time for which I posted that I had done that there well all make mistakes. Not sure if I want to go with the merchant or the Jacket because with the Collectors edition you get the Jacket and with the premium you get the Merchants when you order through Game Stop. Not sure if I want to pay 130 for the game though. Now Does anyone know if we'll be able to import our current hero into Witcher 2?

Yep we all make em and i`ve made some doozies as of lateIf your talking about stats there hasn`t been a lot of info about what will be imported into W2. The only thing i know about import is that some of the decisions you make in TW1 will carry over in TW2. Maybe someone who knows more than i do could say more

I think we've all made plenty of mistakes to be honest with you there. Well was referring to your current Garilt that you are playing through with now? I'm Wondering if we'll be able to import him with the way for which he was when we end the game for 1. I know that in NWN and DA you can either import your PC into the next one or you can start a new one. I'm hoping that we will have a choice of either importing or starting a new one.

Ok i think i see what you are askingafaik you start W2 with the new Geralt with no character npc import but the new one is real close to the old one so no big deal there. The only thing thats been said so far is some of the decisions you made in TW1 will carry over to TW2 but will anything else you had in inventory when you finished the 1st game on that i have no idea

Well now it that there were the case that you are starting out wtih a new Geralt and not one for which you import from your last save game that wouldn't be good. After all you worked all that time to ge the swords runes/meteores and upgrading the swords and you start the game with No swords or anything. I hope that this isn't going to be the case here and that we get the option of whether or not to import from TW!.

Whatever gets imported will be for Geralt . It will be the same Geralt but the new Geralt will look like what you see in the intro and outro movies of TW1 it`s just that we don`t know yet what will be imported from TW1 inventory.
