What a relieve... I purchased a new computer for The Witcher 1 to meet the requirements but I don't want to make a habit out of it

I'm afraid I will have to if I want to play the second title...Luckily I have some time to gather the money
No fear here, if you start saving your money today then for sure you'll be able to get a new PC on the premiere, there is still a lot of time to that date :)

:( That sounds like more time to wait than the usual 'soon'

How much money I must save every day? :D Then I would be able to count when will be the premiere

From the leaked Alpha version, I would guess just over 2 GB's RAM should do the trick...But I doubt we'll get off so easy. :D

No worries here - we won't make you sell your kidneys, so that you can afford a PC suitable for W2 ;)

Provided you can afford to save some money ;) Ah well, maybe you'll make me happy with a PS3 or X360 version :D

Just wondering - while story of The Witcher was not consulted or discussed with Andrzej Sapkowski (although he approved it) was this changed during the development of sequel? I´m not doubting RED writers, which prooved themself in first game, in any way but it would be good to know if Sapkowski was participating in development by at least some way.

Same here Petra. I had a laptop that ran it on low-med settings but because I loved the game so much, I bought a beast to run it on high. Here's hoping it'll do the trick second time round!

I don't like the sounds of that!

I am very excited about the witcher 2 oh god I love the first game and still play it right to this very day! Thank you for the info!

I just finished building a new PC today. All I have left to buy is a new video card. I can't wait to play this game.!

I'm almost finished with my build as well, and with this beast I am ready for ANY game!!I wonder will The Witcher 2 be more open then the first one??Not like Oblivion, but a bit more freedom.

I have upgraded my "old" 8800GTX to a new HD5850. I want to play The Witcher 2 as gourgeous resolution/settings as posible.
