But is it in plans to publish a new DVD with all the stuff (patches + Enhanced Ed)? I bought TW2: AoK v1 and then downloaded patch v2.0, patch v2.1 and now I have to get 13 Gb updates from internet (it's bigger than the original game)), so it's very expensive for me. Besides so many defferent files on HDD make reinstall routiner. I would be glad to buy a new DVD, patched and Enhanced if you will publish it, very-very glad!) With Russian voices)

YES, The The Witcher 2 EE is comimg out on PC/xbox 360 next week, so if you want spend money on the new game without downloading from here you can, this is for free...updating the game to the same release next week for us who have the previous versions of the TW2, these updates downloaded make it the new game coming out on PC DVD and xbox 360 next week, I cancelled my PC DVD pre-order as I got this update for free.....

I have read about my problem in support section and I'm sure I have done all of that steps one by one, I even reinstall net faramework 4.0 ,restart my pc than run patch as administrator and when successfully patched in game launcher still stands 2.0
my questions is Am I able to play enhanced edition content with 2.0 ?

Yep, EE is not cumulative.

to find what version of the game you are running from the launcher click view readme file.

@dragonbird - I spoken to a number of Brits, so yes, I speak for them. As I stated, I'm personally not bothered by the size, as I have a rather good internet. BUT fact is "most" of the UK doesn't, and "most" of the UK is capped or throttled to 2mbs when you even attempt to DL'd something over just 2gb's. It sucks but it’s true.

@everyone else - Sorry, I missed that thread, I do apologies :'( , I didn’t think about looking at the forums I posted straight to this one from the news page But i'd expect this info to be somewhere on the news pages, and that’s where I originally looked for the info.

Considering I use to work very closely with "The Witcher" (the first game) UK PR team, I feel rather stupidly embarrassed now Here is my Wolf Medallion they sent me to prove it - http://db.tt/wbc4Bsgp

I still think that’s a lot of GBs for such "little" content, personally. Unless there is some kind of major graphics overhaul, I suspect they have literally re-written the game or ported the XBox360 version straight to PC. I say this because the original comes on 2 DVD's and the install takes up less than 10gbs, so there has to be more than just what it says in the "Patch contains" comment.

Like I said before, other games DLC are allot smaller in comparison to similar content.

On a positive - I re-visited the game this week with the new 2.1 patch. Awesome, very well done. A lot better than release. Runs much better now!

Yes, the steam version is getting the EE. And no, there's no steam pre-download as far as we know so far. Who knows, maybe we'll be able to start downloading it a couple of hours earlier than everyone else, but probably not.

If I remember correctly, there are other features in the patch that hasn't been revealed yet. After watching a conference were they showed what the patch includes, those you listed were present, but there where I think 3 other elements that were hidden.

That is probably because you selected all of the voice packs. Just deselect the ones you don't want and the patch will be much smaller.

And it says that I need 13 gigabytes. But when I go to download window, it says 25
