I haven't said that you're imaging it, but have you ever thought those issues are due to hardware issues ? And I'm talking about processor, graphics card, memory not mouse and keyboard. Although I think all of these things affect the overall gameplay experience including m&k. Plus there is a pause between every attack, you it's not like in h&s where you click 10 times per second and you see the character making 10 slashes in a second, people should be aware of that.

Maybe some are expecting to play the game like regular h&s button masher, so they keep spamming click after click like mad, and get frustrated that it doesn't happen as fast as they would've expected. Just saying...

There are many variables that affect the gameplay. That's why some have these issues and others don't.

I've already gone over this a billion times, and explained it in detail in other posts.

I've got to admit i'm a little worried about the young lady journalists comments about the game playing better on x-box.

Well I thank her, now I know that I should start playing it with my xbox controller.

Honestly, I think the game plays MUCH better with the KB&M combo.

I agree. I have a wired 360 gamepad and I've been using it for more and more games lately due to the keyboard/mouse controls not feeling right (for example Arkham City and L.A. Noire). However not once during all the time I played TW2 was I tempted to pick up the gamepad even though it's right within arm's reach on my desk :p

The TW2 keyboard/mouse controls felt very good to me, and I shudder at the thought of trying to navigate the inventory with a gamepad. However if it makes a difference, I did turn off V-sync, motion blur and depth of field in the options. That could be part of why I didn't experience any mouse lag during gameplay (the mouse did sometimes stop responding during dialogue choices and the inventory though, and I had to hit escape and then resume game to get the mouse working again).

I've tried playing it with Xbox controller and it just didn't work for me; the fact that you have to let go of the right stick, that controls the camera, so you could tap buttons is a major deal breaker for me. Using K&M is much easier, more comfortable experience..

Same here. Theres some games on my PC that i play with a gamepad, Arkham Asylum is 1 (not played City yet) as the camera is always behind you (Chasecam i think its called). I tried playing TW2 with a gamepad but having to let go of the camera stick to hit buttons just didnt feel right to me and so K+M was miles ahead in ease of use........like most PC games are really.

I do hope the PC EE fixes a lot of the PC issues and i can always hope for an improved UI sometime.

Probably gonna sound like a big baby now, but all this Xbox pomp is little annoying. Marketing for PC version was delivered with much less enthusiasm, making it look like an appetizer to console version (not to mention some questionable design like UI that still not fixed).

And for the first time in my life (well, that's not completely true), I have a strong urge to slap a beautiful girl.. Not that I would do something like that for real.

Haha I think console need more Marketing since it's a new IP for them but we had all those other trailers with great music and that "How to kill a Witcher" trailer.

Don't care about the UI that much since we do have controllers anyway.
