To be honest I think the game looks great, and I really like the dialogue system that I've seen briefly. But it's atrocious that you use a console to demo it. Several times Geralt is waving his sword at thin air.. this is a PC game at it's core, at least I'm hoping for it.My main concerns are1. will there be an OST view JUST like in TW1? The one in the demo looks to be too zoomed out and centered.2. will the inventory system be the same for the PC version like it was in TW1? Inventory systems that are ported from consoles are very, VERY clunky and non-clear (case in point - GOD awful Oblivion and Fallout 3 inventories).3. hope the game will be a LONG one. TW1 had like 100+ hours of gameplay if you did everything.

Yet another fan for whom gamepad is equal to console. It was said many times that there is not even a console version in development at the moment (will be in the future, after PC version is done). Gamepad is used because it's more comfortable on public presentations. You can't operate mouse and keyboard while standing or sitting without a table before you.

I hope no one posted it already, but here's a live demo of Witcher 2 from E3. http://e3.g4tv.com/videos/46388/E3-2010-Live-Witcher-2-Assassins-of-Kings-Demo/The magic barrier from the end of the video looks nice, and it's an interesting game-play addition. Otherwise, nothing new really.

What is wrong with sitting while doing a presentation? Chair expenses? Both the CDProjekt and the interviewer are sitting, so surely they wouldn't be insulted if the presentation guy was sitting as well.I am happy though that they are working on the PC version first. And I hope that it is completely different, both interface and control wise, from the console counterpart. At any rate, I am sure you can sympathize with me on this one. Look around - there is an obscene amount of devs that started out on the PC and consolised their franchises by now, so it's quite natural to make such assumptions after seeing a frikin controller.

Yes, I know where you come from and I share your concerns. I am afraid of game simplification, gamepads and such but we were reassured many times that PC is priority for CDPR. Yes, Bioware said similar things when making DA:O and now we see awful, extremely low resolution textures on PC version because consoles can't handle any better. But, there is no console version of TW2 in development and I just want to believe we'll get a PC game.

1. More camera modes will be implemented later in production.2. No idea, but there is no reason for TW2 interface to be worse than TW1's.3. The game will be shorter than TW1 but devs keep saying that quantity is sacrificed for quality. The game is supposed to be more intense without unnecessary fill-in fedex quests which artificially make the game longer.

Thanks for the answers. I hope they just cut the witcher contract types of quests, those were boring. But if they have the game like 80 hours to do everything, I'll be pretty happy.

Actually contract quests is what makes the game feel more like the books. Witchers are slaying monsters for money after all.

I agree. But those are by definition the fedex quests. You can always make them more interesting though, instead of "collect 10 wolf fangs. that's it".

I am a little disappointed as i did not see anything new for the witcher at E3.I thought we would see some improvements to Geralt and the game but all i saw was more of the same.

The detailed explanation (IGN.UK) how to outflank and kill this tentacle creature wasn't really new to me but more precise.I will appreciate if you CDPR guys will favour us with a kind of photo diary about the E3 in the same funny style as you did on the GC in Germany when you promoted the EE.

the game is still far away and the media will be scarce until beginning of next year so the masses will hold back I assume. once they release a date we will be flooded with the usual noob questions.
