Just to be sure, the boxed version will have DRM, right??? So we can't have both, a printed disc and printed stuff and a no drm game :3

We don't know for sure yet. CDPR is against DRM, but the final decision is the publisher's. They can guarantee that the GOG.com version won't have DRM, but that's not the same as saying that the boxed version will. I think the publisher's decisions are probably made -- or at least announced -- closer to launch time.

Please help me understand one thing: The Collectors Edition will be available worldwide but only the one purchased at gram.pl is Limited and individually numbered? Am I right? Btw, why the price in zloty, euro doesn't work in Poland?EDIT This is what the gram.pl site says about international shipping:"Gram.pl shop sells exclusively by mail order in the Polish Republic. At the moment we do not execute foreign shipments."Would still love to know if only the polish Collectors Edition will be numbered individually though :)

Thought so. And I bet a good 40% will show soon on Ebay for double the price ;) Oh well, I'm in Slovenia but will get my copy probably from Amazon UK, it is usually much more convenient than buying in local shops. Btw, there are only two game series that I bother looking for Collectors Editions (though I play a lot of games), one is The Witcher the other is S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. EDITIs the gram.pl edition identical to the international Collectors Edition or does it contain extra goodies?

Hi everybody, So If I'm right, the collector of Amazon UK is the same as the Amazon French one ?! The Art Book and the guide will be multi-language or localised by countries ?Otherwise, great presentation. I believe The Witcher 2 gonna rock the Video Game World !

It looks amazing, the details and combat system looks really realistic, anyway I am really disappointed that we won´t have a dubbing in czech republic :( It was one of those things that took you deep in game.

First of all, I need to say that if there is one developer that I deeply respect and trust to do right by its customers - it's CDProject. However, am I the only one disturbed by all the "exclusive" DLCs? I mean, I can live without the three extra costumes even if I would prefer to be able to see them in my game but "Finisher Pack"? I would be glad if someone can explain what that is because the only thing I can think of is "cool finishing moves unavailable to fans who purchased through the "wrong" retailer". And this is definitely un-cool. I hope I'm wrong because that strikes me as very uncharacteristic for CDProject - the only people that in mind stand for everything the game industry SHOULD be instead of the money-milking, customer-scre*ing parody of an ethical business model that everybody else runs these days.

Probably the different dlc's for different versions of the game are just a marketing strategy. There will be lots of talk about the game on gaming sites and in forums because of the different packs and that is good for keeping people interested and attracting new buyers. Eventually CDProject will release a free patch containing the complete dlc's, that's what I think. Not to mention that CDProject is aware of the existence of p2p. ;-)

I hope that several months after the release everybody will be able to download all the "exclusive" DLCs.

Hello all TW Fans :)I am from Poland and i can give you some 100% sure feedback with what i know for sure:DRM - there will be NO DRM at all box versions of the game! There will be NO DRM also at downloadable version of the game f.e. at GOG.Polish Collectors edition will be avalible ONLY in GRAM.pl. There is only 9999 copies to be sold (alreade 1/3 sold).Collectors edition will be exactly the same in all other countries!Difference is only PRICE. Polish collectors edition is cheapest compared to prices in other countries.Unfortunatelly foregin customers can't buy the game via gram.pl (they don't send games abroad)No there is only one HELLof a BIIGGGGG TIME HOLE TO PASS until may 2011... ;(I CAN'T WAIT :) :) :)

Ordered the CE from HMV UK, lowest shipping fee to Slovenia (2,5£ vs the 10£ of Amazon UK, I really hope they'll ship it in a sturdy box). Guess I'm getting an Alchemy Suit, designed by Armani hopefully, you know Dolce & Gabbana is for sissies :-D

Are you sure of that?????? I mean it is hard to beleive for me that Atari is allowing that O_O; I ordered the regular one at amazon.uk for aprox 30€ but I may order a second one just to keep it sealed as a tresure, as a mark of how things HAVE to be done!!!But still I have a request to do to the devs, a music CD is cool, thanks for it, but after the drooling time, what is really useful is the mp3 version of said music CD.My request is that if there would be a bit of free space in the making of DVD for the music in mp3? PLEASE!!!! I don't know how to rip a cd -_-;

Well, today Tomasz Gop stated on the Polish forum that the negotiations considering DRM in the boxed versions are still ongoing. He also confirmed there will be no DRM in all version distributed electronically (except for Steam).

I was so excited to see the latest video. I LOVE all things Witcher and I was most impressed that they have gone back to the time where games actually came with added extra goodies as a standard which made you feel like you were opening a gift on a holiday. I had long missed those times of old until the RED Team reintroduced it. Can I get a world map in cloth please? *big grin*I'll pre-order a non-digital version though because I enjoy having the actual stuff in hand to add to my all time favorites through the years collection.

So, if TW2 is censored in North America (we don't know if it will yet), I'm guessing that the GOG version won't be censored. Yet another reason for those of is in North America to buy from GOG.

I also wondered of the censorship in North America but it is my understanding that GOG is in North America so wouldn't any censorship also apply to them as well?

It was too good to be true.I hope the negatiations end well, besides with 2 different exe files patching is gonna be more complicated... or with first patch remove the DRM? =)
