Thank you CDRED

This is game is amazing. I never read any reviews due to the fact I did not want my expectations to be skewed. My favourite game of the series is the original Witcher game and you guys have managed to blend the feeling and mood of both games perfectly into this third instalment.

This game is quite simply outstanding and I am absolutely loving my time back here. I have waited for what feels like an age and you guys have not dissapointed in the slightest.

Bravo

Actually this place was almost the only gaming community I knew that wasn't like that, until pretty recently. I don't really post on any other forums for any of the games I play because every one of them is just a torrent of people complaining about the most inane crap. I don't take that seriously at all, it's just a bit sad that this board has now become... well, like all the others. I guess it's just an inevitable side effect of TW3's massive success. Welcome to mainstream gaming. Sigh.

I'm gonna go play now. Yessir.

Yeah I guess that is one of the side-affects fo W3 getting so much positive feedback and great hype and reviews, mainstream players are going to come and investigate and yes they do complain about the most ridiculous things!

Agreed with you. It's probably one of my most anticipated titles of the year and it did not disappoint me. It's an amazing game. Thanks CDPR, I've enjoyed each entry even more so than the last.

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a real standard setter. I'm finding it difficult to remember any game that completely and utterly out classed everything in its genre to this extent. The quests, the atmosphere, the mini games, the characters, the little details. Elder Scrolls ? Fallout ? Dragon Age ? Now they just feel empty and bland compared to The Witcher. I say this as an Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age fan. Or should I say, previous fans of Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age.Damn it, it has been a very long time since I was able to play a game so immersive that I forgot to freaking sleep ! Then when I actually got to sleep, I dreamt about the game ! Playing Witcher 3 is like having hot, steamy, saucy romantic sex with a woman for a few weeks and she spoils you so much to the point you don't bother looking at other girls and pine for her forever, even after she is done with you. I have a strong feeling many future RPGs will live in The Witcher 3's shadow. CDPR has spoiled me, and spoiled me good. I suppose it takes a Polish game developer to show the world what polish is all about. Thank you CDProjektRed, thank you.

Yep, I think its also wise to point out that CDPR as a Polish developer are willing to take more 'risks' and make a more adult game than Western developers are! I think certain Western developers are so caught up making sure that they don't alienate certain younger demographics that they forget entirely what they set out to achieve in the first place. That is making a game that THEY would want to play, not what 12 year olds and their parents would consider acceptable.

I've never seen a combat so good in a game, it's just amazing how fast paced it is and how thorough you have to be when fighting against the odds, which is most of the time :]

You guys did really an amazing job CDPR, I'm still on the begining but I'm already mind blown!!

I am playing on the standard difficulty setting, 2nd from top, and I still find myself dying a fair bit, 4 or 5 times so far and I have just left White Orchid after doing all the side-quests there and following the MQ to the next area. The game really does make you think before you rush in, dogs/wolves/monsters that hunt in packs use pack strategy's to hit you while you are trying to fight the one infront of you!

One question for you guys, do you have weapon damage on or off in the options? I am contemplating turning it off, I love the realism of having to repair your equpment but on the other hand I get sick of having to run back to town to get repair packs to fix them? Your thaughts?

Just passing by after several hours of play and very little sleep the last few days to say thanks to CDPR !
The world they managed to create, the stories that are entwined, the characters... It's a mixed bag of fun, epicness, intimate and touching moments. The whole thing is just mind-blowing. It just gives me a feeling of awe every moment I spend on the game.
Yes, there is little bugs here and there, yes I saw one or two characters pop in front of me. Some felt a bit annoying, like the blood decals issue. But honestly speaking, once I started playing, I couldn't care less.

Now I just read that interview this morning : http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-05-19-cd-projekt-red-tackles-the-witcher-3-graphics-downgrade-issue-head-on
And it actually made me feel truly sad for them. They've released their biggest game ever, definitily one of the best of 2015, spent years on it, and they can't even enjoy it when it is finally released. And all that because of some people spending hours and hours comparing every possible blade of grass and brick wall in the game.

Anyway, long story short. Congratulations CDPR and thank you for what you achieved with The Witcher 3. I've ordered CE on console, digital for PC, world of the witcher, and pretty much everything that is available on the witcher store at this moment and I don't regret it at all.

Hats off, bottoms up !

Thanks CDPR I love this game! Found myself actually appreciating real life fauna and flora because your game is so gorgeous and makes me appreciate it more. A game has never done that for me before, actually made me look at my surrounding environment that little bit closer.

Sorry but just looking at the 35 min gameplay is amazing how downgraded the lighting, textures , shaders..... draw distance, some objects are. It's the awful truth.

The game deserves a 10 IMO, but the behavior of CDPR changed, because of the downgrade and what was going on in this forum the last year.

The sad thing is i believed in the "philosophy" and everything, that they were the best and this game could be the best in gaming history, i said it here. But the truth i have to admit to some friends that i was wrong, this game yes, it has downgrade, and again i'm talking about the 2014 35 min gameplay video. Just found thins now looking at the video i had. I have the gerant screenshot fighting wolfs, that one from 2013 with amazing textures an shaders while i say this, and i get it, that build was imposible, but the 2014? then why those gameplays?

I no longer feel the same for CDPR, they show that they are the same as any other developer. But they at least admited the downgrade after the game launch, so late....... i understand the problems of development, i do not some other things. Moderation on this forum for example for any critic person only.

People in this forum lives in a bubble, no body says nothing wrong about CDPR or the game, everything is perfect and the world is wrong. Sad thing.......even when the game deserves a GOTY, it's going in the wrong way CDPR. People don't care. Hope this change.....

The game is a 10 for me, but even closing the forums or filling it with bots that says everything is perfect, wont change the trust that a lot of people lost.

I have a saying, when you love something, for real, some one for real, you don't say "hey , yes go on, everything is fine", you say what is wrong, what needs to be changed. That is a real "fan", i keep my admiration in a minor lvl , but i still keep it.

Good luck, i will got, deleted post, banned or something..... like always these days in this forum. Don't care.

I am so tired of "Downgradegate" . This game is the first in many years that exceeded expectations. I earlier posted a thread about the plans my Son and I had... They have come to fruition! We are having a blast. Even bragging about killing this or that mob on whatever difficulty.

This game is so far above your random RPG , it is in a different universe. On the PS/4 it is freakin' glorious. So what? We are having FUN, we are not spending our time counting resolution in bricks!

Enjoy peeps. This game is fun!

As someone who spent countless hours playing the original Witcher and Assassin of Kings, I just want to say kudos to CDPR for a job well done!! This is the RPG that I've always wanted, and your team did not disappoint. There are a few hiccups in gameplay, but overall the Wild Hunt is a phenomenal experience. Thank you for your hard work and dedication, and keep it up!!

Just my two cents :)

Wow!

I literally just spent 15 minutes standing on a hilltop and looking around. I watched a herd of deer playing in the woods. I saw several shooting stars. I watched a flock of bats or birds flying around in front of the moon. Then I walked down the hill to a path and found an arm lying in a pool of blood. THIS GAME IS AWESOME!! I tip my hat to everyone involved. Congratulations on a job very well done!

CDPR has their very own A-Life system, it seems. I've seen many things happen that I wouldn't really expect to happen. Gives the world surrounding you a life of It's own, and not just an expansive world to run around, but things do interact and everything seems to have It's own pathing and behaviour.

Very similar to STALKER's A-Life. At least that's what I'm reminded of.
