This again? really? can you guys just give it a rest for a change.

First same sex romance and playing as a female character can be import to some people, it is not my place to judge other people priorities, only privileges folk do that. Second having that choices does not affect the quality of your game. LARP really? You mean cosplay right.
By the way isn't there a topic about "You are going to chose Yen or Triss?" in this forum? some people are demading that Triss should be option how is that different? The way I see it It seem to me that good part of the game is going to be about finding Yen with Ciri because Geralt is a define character and you do not get to chose. How is this fair and if they give the option to the player, is TW 3 going to be a bad game for it?

Yes I like TW and TW 2 and DA:O and DA2 and I have my reasons, both companies have a lot of good stuff and bad. I just something really hate to come here and see all of this hate just because people like different things, the main reasons that made me left BSN was exactly this kinda of stuff and by the way I always found strange that some people there hated TW without even playing it, it was absurd.
The last really good game from bioware was DA:O everything after that was something of a ok quality and I hope that they find success again with DA 3, just like I hope CDPR succeeds with Cyberpunk and TW 3, so I can play as many excellent rpgs as I can.

CD Projekt RED better be successful with Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. After all I am buying 80 copies of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt I hope to see CD Projekt RED sell 5+ million copies of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

OK. :p I laid an hypothesis, I got u a proof now... :p

Mind first I was talking about mainly guys, male RPG gamers, but definetly more "casual" RPG gamers.
But here you have what I would call a "case study"... :p She's not very illustrative in her points, she basically is a Bioware fan, bought almost EVERYTHING bioware did since Mass Effect, but shes not an airhead or shallow at all(as Bloth would say). She also LOVES the witcher (and the BOOOKS also)...

So this is what I was getting at, theres more overlap in the fanbase for the two franchises (ODDDLY) than most people here would recognise perhaps. :p

Back when I ran The Wishroom, almost all of the followers were huge Bioware and Witcher fans. I had to block quite a few BW-related keywords just to make my dashboard manageable. The fandoms definitely overlap, I don't see why they shouldn't.

Mihura's post is on point, I agree with everything.

To mollify any upset Dragon Age fans i've got my hands on some exclusive footage of the New Templar faction in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIV4poUZAQo

And the feared operatives of the Inquisition itself.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSe38dzJYkY

Beware nobody expects the gigglesquee inquisition!

I see much satisfying and regular piss taking to be had from this, the artistic integrity merchants over at Bioware must really be wanting to be laughed at.

Inquisitor Torquemada: Haha nobody expects the gigglesquee Inquisition! Our chief weapons is surprise, surprise and the awesome button! Okay our two chief weapons are surprise, the awesome button and blatant fanservice caricatures demeaning to all women! Allright our three chief weapons are surprise, the awesome button, blatant fanservice caricatures demeaning to all women and an idiotic narrative! Damn! I've got it now, our four chief weapons are surprise, the awesome button, blatant fanservice caricatures demeaning to all women, idiotic narrative and drab grey lifeless recycled areas! Blast I almost had it.

Inquisitor Biggles: What about cringeworthy subpar Joss Whedon cutesy dialogue boss?

Inquisitor Torquemada: Well of course bloody that, we are the Gigglesquee Inquisition you moron!

I actually I use that joke a lot with DA3, I think it is funny too.... but the game has that name for a reason and I think that TW3: The Wild Hunt is no different, it states exactly what are the main motivations in the game.

I get that some people hate bioware, I criticized them a lot too and think that the last 4 games were almost shadows of what they can really do but like everyone else, people have every right to say whatever they like about the company and what they represent but I do not get what there is to gain for bashing others here for their choices in games, other them creating negative environments for people that actually like both. I already address this and I am probably just wasting my time again really.

The first dlc has been released for Dragon Age 3: Nobody expects the Gigglesquee Inquisition. A fearsome stealthy knight of Ni and former Templar assassin will be added to your party (and of course rub their virtual bits against your virtual bits whether you're animal, vegetable or mineral/solid, liquid or gaseous) adding his fearsome stealth capabilities and strong right arm to your cause, he will be invaluable for those long battles against parachuting exploding bandits, especially on the 67th wave when the mages are typically first brought into play. His character type will be Bioware patent number 4 and his name will appropriately enough be the honourable Sir Not Appearing in this Game, for access to this supremely sneaky invisible mage assassin simply download the "They're not seriously gonna fall for this are they?" character pack for $29.99, and Sir Not Appearing in this Game will stand at your side throughout every aspect of the game, whether conversation or combat.

Spend a further $9.99 to add the character clothing and gender pack, with which you can change his invisible appearance and freely switch between the male and female gender.

Another $4.99 will gain you the ceremonial knight of Ni assassin robes, that boost his in game invisibility and make his romance scenes with the main character 10% longer as he brandishes the lyrium rabbit.

@Mihura. I'm not bashing anyone, just having a bit of fun at Biowares expense.

Don't forget about season passes you can now buy a season pass for only $49.99 dollars (USD) that includes 25 maps you save $10 dollars (USD) if you pre-order now. So hurry up and get this amazing deal before it expires then the season pass will cost $60 dollars (USD). Amazing deal. Or you can just buy each map pack which has 5 maps for $14.99 dollars (USD) instead of the season pass separately.

This joke is meant to Call of Duty and how they do their map pack DLC's and season pass.

Fanboyism aside.. You know why i like CDPR more than Bioware?

CDPR No DRM vs. EA/BW Origin Exclusive

CDPR All DLCs are free vs. EA/BW Item/Weapon/Armor DLCs that cost $5-$15 each which add nothings but intend to rip you off. In older days these items/weapons/armors are loot found during your gameplay. EA/BW games? You need to buy it.

CDPR treat it's customers maturedly while EA/BW would like to make games for kids(They thought it would make more $$ by selling to all audiences *casualize*).

CDPR is always innovating and improving (both in technology, visuals, gameplay and story mechanics) while EA/BW is not shameful of releasing a game where it only has 4 maps. The rest are cut-and-paste dungeons. Not to mentioned the technology and their ugly visuals. They are over-pampered by their fanboys about graphics don't sell a game hence they don't really need to care about visuals and arts (which in my opinion is wrong. visuals and graphics *helps* immerse gamers more to the game at least i speak for my own).

This is exactly why CD Projekt RED is the best video game publisher and developer out there. Electronic Arts (EA) and the video game development studios they own are a joke and only care about making as much money off of you as they can while CD Projekt RED cares about their fans. CD Projekt RED has to be setting a new example for the video game industry and which every one else should follow.

I don't find anything wrong in that. Expecially regarding the Inquisition, I think Bioware was expecting some reaction about the name
People on BSN are more concerned about the PC being a possible member of it, where the Inquisition was previously a organization who hunt demons, apostates, maleficarum etc, and was split in the Templar Order and the Seekers of Truth after a deal with the Chantry. Considering the fact that the PC could be a mage, or a mage supporter, the organization should be quite different from what it was in the past.

Fact is, that CDPR isn't under her thumb of a company like EA.Therefore they can produce what they like and how they like it. That's mostly a guaranty of good games.
Bioware is more or less "enslaved", absorbed by EA and bound to their restrictions. With that they can't really implement their own ideas and we get something like DA2. The only real escape, I can see here, is, that the employees of Bioware quit their job and start from scratch with a new studio, like e.g. parts of the developers of Torchlight, who where former members of the Diablo team or the former developers of the German Gothic series. But this will not happen and therefore I think Bioware will continue to produce mediocre mass products.

EA "forced" Bioware on the restricted development time, not on the changes between DAO and DA2. There were some interview that explained of Bioware didn't believe DAO would've had the success it had, and after DAO went gold, they planned the next game to be different.

If you don't believe that something will be successful, then you don't create it and don't change it afterwards. That's also 1x1 of software development cycle.
DAO was the last game what was mostly created without full control of EA and you can see that also in ME series. ME1 is like DAO more old style RPG. Then after EA took over we got ME2. Basically a third person shooter with squad in corridor levels. ME3 finally added the day one 10 bucks Javik DLC and the MP part with it's micro transactions, the most obvious influence of EA.

They simply have to attract the crowd, which wants action games, like also stated in countless interviews. And their story part is the only and last thing which holds together everything. And if that also fails, we have something like ME3 ending debacle.

Afaik, Bioware acquired both Black Isle and Interplay. Icewind dale is sort of "sequel" (bad word I know) of BG series (if I'm not mistaken, DnD 3.0 system).
