I got some free time this Friday and I will be able to go to Brasilian Game Show! So, in similar way to Kinley trend, post your quesntions and doubts about the game. I will pick the most voted ones and will bring to the devs present at the fair tomorrow.

I am very sorry for the short anounce. I was not going until some minutes ago (life as a importer/foreing trader is troublesome lol).

Why wouldn't they show to the public? It's a no brainer. What better way to promote the game? BTW, I asked about this in the other thread, after you go there, tell us about it, if Geraldo's has a sexy voice

I've seen a video with portuguese audio. Given how crappy the video is, I think nobody were allowed to record anything at BGS 2014, so I will not post any links. It looked, sounded good. I really liked Dijkstra's voice, Johnny's is annoying as it should be and Geralt's voice is very good. The only "problem" is that it's the same VA as Aiden Pearce, so it's weird hearing Geralt, my boy, and remembering that big hypocrite. Just granny's voice was not so good.

I hope CDPR releases the footage with pt-br audio. There's no reason not to, except the one to not promote your game and sell more. I'd like to know more about the other VA and seeing as CDPR really invested on it, it's a good idea to promote the game with them in the future, early 2015. Some VA have huge following and depending on who else in is the cast, you'd attract a lot of people who never even heard of The Witcher.

Ps. Is Guilherme Briggs in this? Is he? Tell me he is!

I saw the bootleg video too. The voices worked really well. And I think the man did some fine different tones between Aiden and Geralt.

Anyway, I just wanted CDPR to answer my questions. Also, none of my predictions turned out to be true

Cloth map and gwent for all CE editions
CE editions also contain a GOG copy
It will actually be cheaper buying them here in Brazil than importing from somewhere else, i.e, no pseudo "custo Brasil"
Female characters with more reasonable footwear
Specific PC UI - Come on, even DA:I did it
1080p for the consoles
Dice Poker is back
Shiny new footage, streamed to the whole world

Very underwhelming show, not even this footage with pt-br audio was relesead.

and also I thought a bit after watching some images from the BGS and I thought:
translating the title to the witcher:caçada selvagem wouldn't be bad, instead, it would sound cool
but if is "o bruxo: caçada selvagem" then... Lol
also I want to go to BGS one day (unfortunately I don't live in são paulo )

Well, a good tip is to plann your visit to BGS, book a flight (or bus) early on and the Hotel (there is one close to the Expo Center Norte and you I think there's some kind of "pacotes de eventos"). But try to come with friends. I went alone and it's very boring :/

I just imagine myself, at 24 february REALLY happy about the witcher release, then I'll with a lot of happiness start my the witcher game, when, suddenly, the game starts like that:
"O bruxo 3:caçada selvagem, estreado por geraldo de rivia, um bruxo, um caçador de monstros..."

In far cry 4 it still sounds a bit "infantile" the voice in the first 10 seconds, but then the voice adjusts and finally the voice fits really well the character personality and finally it fits the background sound. Special mentions to:evil laugh at 0:35 (evil and infantile in a way that sounds as the one of a insane person) and his voice plus the one that is asking help after 0:50 until the end, and finally the best ,at 0:19, he says "terroristas DE MERDA", I mean, it's not "macacos me mordam", "terroristas inuteis", "terroristas ruins" or anything like that, but MERDA, NO CENSORSHIP, it's really "MERDA", "MERDA" !!!
well, for the witcher 3 I'll obviously play the english version (cough emperor cough cough), except for this johnny the voice is made really well, there's an excelent themed voice for the ladies as you can see in the video (and of the emperor) . Well, at least in the first playthrought, if the dubbing is made really well I'll eventually play on portuguese

once my friend showed me the portuguese voices for league of legends, I died at this day. twice

I will probable play one or two time son english and them play a third with portuguese. I did that with Starcraft 2. Unfortunately, we have good dubbing studios and bad ones. Not every company wants to more and contract one from São Paulo or Rio (that make the best stuff), so you can imagine the situation... But that's not the case with The Witcher 3, bless Melitele's Heart

I think the portuguese version is going to be great; I mean, I can't stress enough that we have great voice actors, whose power level is over 9000 and it seems CDPR is really investing in this. Given enough resources and under good direction, the likes of Mauro Ramos, Guilherme Briggs, Márcio Simões, Francisco Bretas, Marcelo Campos, Cecília Lemes, Márcio Seixas, Garcia Junior, Luiz Lobue, Miriam Ficher, etc.. will beat anything, including Charles Dance.

They said they have 81 VA, so it remains to be seen who they are, apart from Sérgio Moreno (you hear me CDPR? tell us who they are). I'll go first with portuguese version and I'll keep with it unless it sucks. If it's as good as The Last of Us' I'll think 10x before switching to english.

Given enough resources and under good direction, the likes of Mauro Ramos, Guilherme Briggs, Márcio Simões, Francisco Bretas, Marcelo Campos, Cecília Lemes, Márcio Seixas, Garcia Junior, Luiz Lobue, Miriam Ficher, etc.. will beat anything, including Charles Dance.

As I played The Witcher 1 and 2 on English I'm gonna play the third on english. But, I'm gonna switch to portuguese to give it a try at some playtrough
