-Will you open a merch store finally? I'm 'begging' them since 2 years now, they might even know it's me probably. :p

-and why is it private this time? aside from what greski said that is ;)

As far as I remember CDPR answered this somewhere with a big "yes", think it was in the "feature list" they presented :D

It would be awesome if Geralt could jump and strike while falling down from the air. After having read a couple of the books, I have to agree that Geralt fights as ordinary like any other man in The Witcher 2. His speed is his weapon. Luckily it's been confirmed his fighting will be more realistic to the books. I guess I can't think of any questions for now.

Just give them a big hug :D

I have so many question about storyline, but they will not tell you :) But if you learn something ... two main questions (topics) - who will appear and who will survive - if there will be a chance to see some happyend (Geralt and his friens alive). :D

Wouldn't it be sad if it ended with: The whole witcher game series was just a dream. You never lived at all.

Question: Will I be able to conduct investigations without using Witcher Senses?

Will they have hairdressers? Will we be able to customize his hair/beard in the game?

Just try to pay a lot of attention to how the controls work and feel, and other features like the music and horse riding.

thats it for me.

CDprojekt said they were going to show something to the audience at E3.... I wonder if the news on this topic denies that info

I doubt it, they will probably show a gameplay and cutscenes trailer, or a CG pre rendered trailer.

the thing they dont want to show the press is the alpha gameplay.

But I don't understand the reason behind this choice. I don't think that the press is more objective, in their reports, than gamers and people alike. Indeed, often the press say what their readers/audience want to hear.

Actually often the gaming press say, what the companies want them to say, cause they are often paying them to do so or giving them special rewards for "good" reviews. Not saying this is the case here though! But you can also see the problem with the game journalist awards, which are sponsored by the companies. Independant gaming reviews by professionals highlighting faults are rare, at least in AAA. That is why I rather stick to YouTubers and others actually criticizing negative points.

And yet, whenever a game company publishes some unfinished/alpha footage, no matter how clearly they mark it as such, there'll be a huge outrage over the tiniest details... better not to show everyone the unfinished footage and just hold off until they have the new renderer and the game looking the way they want to.

^ Exactly why closed doors presentation is a good thing

Just look at the witcher 2 alpha footage, it's a completely different beast from the final product

Well, I respect the Witcher community. It would be a huge disappointment if someone of the old-time users here and/or the true fans raged against CDprojekt just because of the renderer and trivial things like that.
The community deserves to see something new. To give opinions, suggestion, costructive criticism and help the devs to improve the game.

As for the masses' opinion, if I were Cdprojekt I wouldn't care.
