Will this be a Witcher 2.2. or do we really get an open world to explore freely and random
(or at least much more and complex) side quest to have fun with?

Thanks everyone for your questions. I've made a list, and I realize that I may not be able to ask all this at the presentation (time slot is limited, meetings are back to back). But I can leave the team a note and have them answered once the E3 craze is over.

A few things to answer some of the comments and questions...

I will not be cosplaying. I'm going to a series of meetings, so I certainly can't be running around in a costume. It would be fun (and I'd wear my Abigail dress) but not professional nor convenient.

I am not a lucky bastard as someone said - I am in fact a girl :)

Coverage will be posted at gamersintuition.com, and yes, I will leave a note here when all is ready.

There will be no video recording at the presentation. I can bring a voice recorder. Much like The Witcher 2 presentation in 2011, there was a trailer being shown on a big screen outside the West Hall, but the presentation was behind closed doors in one of the meeting rooms, with no video allowed.

I will pass along the hugs, for sure.

Can't bastards be women? I always thought "bastard" was a gender neutral word. But I might be mistaken, since it is not my first language.

And being a girl doesn't make you less lucky I hope. ;)

(By the dictionary, it's a gender-neutral word. But in the old days, it was often used in connection with inheritance of lordly estates, titles of nobility, that sort of thing, to which sons had the first or only rights.)

Anyway, lucky you, didi. Have a wonderful time at E3.

Yeah, I sort of relate the "bastard" as the old days word for male first born. Then again, my parents did want a boy, but then I came out, and general disappointment took place.

But I was a tomboy throughout school anyway (getting into fights and climbing trees, you know, NOT girly stuff), so I guess it fits then :D

Well tomboys are great. :)

Don't know though how anybody could be disappointed though one way or the other.

Well, I do have a bit of a concern regarding the save imports. I mainly play most of my games on the PS3, so I'm eventually going to buy a PS4, and TW3 will finally come to the Playstation, at last! I would've bought TW2 for PS3 if it was developed for that platform, but unfortunately it wasn't. So I was forced to buy both TW1 and TW2 for PC. I've played both games and completed it, and transfered my save files, and now I'm replaying both games to get ready for TW3.

Since I'm getting a PS4, I'm most definitely going to get TW3 for that platform. I do have a very high end PC, but I'd rather get this game on the PS4 because I feel more comfortable playing while sitting on a couch and since this is the final adventure for good ol' Geralt and the conclusion to the non-canon story of Geralt (although, in my mind, I consider this canon for reasons I don't not wish to spoil for those who haven't read the novels), I'd rather experience this on my PS4.

My question: Am I able to transfer my save file across platforms from PC to PS4? I've read about it on an article of CD Projekt searching for a work-around on this whole issue, but I just want to make sure. If I'm unable to transfer my save file from PC to PS4, then I'm forced to get the PC version. I'm the sort of person that loves to have continuity, not just the major choices but even the minor and trivial choices that I have made in both previous games. I just hope they find a solution for this issue that I guess many would want answers for.

Mod edit: let's stick to discussing platforms, not platform users.

Lots of luck for you Didi, have a magical time at E3!!!! />/>/> (if you can pass through the usual douchebags, the women haters, the people that dont bathe, the horrible expensive food, that is :p/>/>/>).

What you can do (if anyone didnt mention it) is post here some pics of the event.

LA Convention Center food is the worst. But you don't have to go very far to find decent chow. Downtown is walking distance to the north, and it's full of places catering to all tastes.

For late-night hangover prevention, take a taxi to Suehiro Cafe in Little Tokyo (East First Street) and pig out on nabeyaki udon.

save transfer isnt necessary, a screen to choose and let the game know what happened in your playthrough is more than enough, that is if you remember what happened, wich you probably do if you care about the story.

And if i recall correctly they said you would be able to set the initial state for the game regarding what happened before for those who didnt played the witcher 1 or 2, so thats all you need.

Can't wait for the opening of the pre-orders and a release date, but it looks like CDPRojekt is hiring, so I would like to know, as I didn't find it, how many of the witcher 1 developpers will be working on the third ? Too much companies nowadays put different teams on sequels or lose "leader" guys.
