The witcher 3, can't play ng+

Hi there I'm new to this forum.
I've completed the witcher 3 game on ps4. The portal is closed. Ciri is at the ice world. And I'm back again at Kaer Morhen.
It said when I start a new game, I can load my previous game etc...
The problem is, when I want to start a new game, I can't load the previous save game. It just starts a new game and my char is level 1.
The game says its v1.6 (at the menu) but there was a patch downloaded, so it's v1.62 according to ps4 game info.
Hopefully I can get some helpful information.

You need the free New Game Plus DLC. I'm not familiar with PlayStation but it should be in the store somewhere, possibly on the game's page.

Download (and activate if necessary) the DLC, and the option should appear.
